La linea dei Serum lipstick di Laneige parte dallo stesso presupposto che divide i sieri dalle creme. I sieri, come sappiamo, sono più concentrati di una crema; così anche i serum lipstick sono un rossetto, a detta di Laneige, concentrato. Già da qui mi verrebbe da dire che Laneige è sempre molto veritiera quando descrive i suoi prodotti, ed è una delle case cosmetiche più serie. Metto mani avanti, se non volete leggere questa review, il succo è: Sì, è un rossetto concentrato. Sì, funziona da Dio. Cazzo, sì, compratelo subito. Ovviamente questo colore in particolare è un'edizione limitata, ma in generale tutta la gamma permanente ha colori fantastici.
In realtà chi è davvero beauty incallita avrà già sentito parlare, anche sul blog di Clio, del fatto che ci sono stati dei rossetti che dall'anno scorso hanno riscontrato tantissimo successo in Corea per via di un drama ( serie tv/strana soap opera/ slash/ Slash non so come spiegare ai profani) "you who came from the stars" in cui l'attrice indossava vari rossetti (tutti correntemente Sold Out in Corea) fra cui la tonalità Neon Orange dei Serum lipstick di Laneige. Comunque, curiosità a parte, entriamo nel vivo della review e nelle mie crappy fotografie.
The Serum Lipstick line is very famous among koreans. In particular, you might have heard about the color Neon Orange, one of the sold out shades that Jun Ji-hyun wore in You who came from the Stars drama. Basically, Serum Lipstick are a more concentrated and pigmented version of a lipstick. Truth must be told, if you want me to sum up this whole article: go grab one if you can. Not this shade maybe, but there are plenty of shades in the standard collection that are really pretty.
PACKAGING
Anche qui, già la scatolina è bellissima e tutta leopardata. Di nuovo abbiamo la stampa Leo Puppy, ma, nel caso dei rossetti, in questo caso è rossa. Anche il rossetto presenta la stampa rossa anzichè verde. E invece io vorrei sapere quanto geniale è stato il signor Park della pushbutton a mettere il cucciolotto nella stampa...dannato istigatore all'acquisto!
Il packaging, ahimè, a parte essere bello, non mi dà la sensazione di solidità che mi dà un rossetto mac. sarà per il cappuccio di plastica trasparente, sarà perchè effettivamente la plastica e il tutto mi ricorda i baby lips...non so. Non che io voglia testare la resistenza giocandoci a ping pong, però non mi sentirei tranquilla a portarmelo in viaggio...(forse anche perchè è un'edizione limitata?). Comunque, al di là della stampina, il packaging dei rossetti Laneige, così come la forma arrotondata del prodotto non mi fanno impazzire.
Just as I previously stated in the other article, I love the Leo Puppy frame. Here we have a light difference, because it's red, instead of green. i'm not a fan of laneige lipsticks packaging, to be really honest with you guys. Maybe because of the transparent cap, or because when i touch them they look like the baby lips from maybelline...I don't know, the packaging isn't very sturdy, and it looks cheap (mostly the regular ones ). Not that I want to test their resistence throwing it away...I mean, hello, I love this limited edition thing. I just don't think I would take it with me in a travel. lol
TEXTURE AND APPLICATION
Quando Laneige dice che questo è un rossetto concentrato, che si stende facilmente e copre alla prima passata, lasciando un finish glossy alle labbra...beh, non mente. Ve lo confermo io, questo rossetto copre alla prima passata e si stende che è un amore. Vorrei davvero essere più oggettiva nel descrivervelo, ma fra me e la tastiera si stanno frapponendo i cuoricini che io e Retro Plum ci stiamo mandando...
La texture è cremosa, devo dire che somiglia davvero tanto al burro. Compatto nel bullet, ma che si stende facilmente non appena tocca le labbra. Non è tanto cremoso da sbavare però. Come consistenza, se dovessi paragonarlo ad un rossetto europeo, direi che somiglia al finish Amplified di Mac, nella stesura ai rossetti Rouge Volupte della YSL.
L'unica nota negativa è il fatto che il prodotto stesso sia rotondo...per me è una scocciatura applicarlo negli angoli, ed inoltre, esteticamente, preferisco i rossetti a punta. Ho notato che, essendo molto idratante come finish, pur avendo un po' di pellicine non le enfatizza. Altra nota positiva per lui, non si infila fra le pieghette.
Una cosa scocciante, se proprio dobbiamo cercare il pelo nell'uovo, è che, essendo cremoso, se lo applico direttamente dal tubetto ed ho le labbra secche, restano graffietti evidenti sulla superficie del rossetto e per me che sono una psicopatica es no bueno. u_u
Everything Laneige said about this lipstick...it's true! I mean, it has a really full coverage from the first application, and it glides on smoothly. It's a pleasure to apply this lipstick on your lips, and most of all, I must say that I adore how smmoth it goes even if I have really dry lips. You don't even need to scrub your lips, if you're really late you can apply it and the application will be easy and comfortable. The texture is really creamy like butter, very compact in the bullet, but extremely creamy on the lips. The creamier texture doesn't make it crease or smudge, though. I applied it always without pencil (also in the swatches here), and it never gave me any problems. If I should choose a lipstick to compare with it, would pick the YSL Rouge Voluptè for the creamy consistency, for the color payoff I would pick the amplified finish from MAC.
The only negative note I have about these lipstick is the rounded tip, because having heart shaped lips, I prefer having a pointy tip to reach every angle. Also, since it's really creamy, if you have dry chapped lips you will probably leave scratches on the product if you apply directly on your lips. Still, it doesn't fix on the emphasize dry patches on the lips.
ESPERIENZA
Alla fine ho detto e/o lasciato intuire che ho avuto esperienze solo positive con questo rossetto indosso, quindi non mi ripeterò. Una piccola nota bisogna farla al colore, molto più vivido che nelle foto e rispetto al tubetto. Non è candy yum yum, però è decisamente uno di quei colori che attirano l'attenzione. E' molto caldo, a dispetto dalle apparenze, quindi indossatelo quando siete sicure di non aprire la bocca, perchè ingiallisce un sacco i denti! ( rido da sola per i miei fantastici commenti, compatitemi.). La durata è anche qualcosa da non sottovalutare; da solo, senza matita, dura 5 ore e più. Teme però il cibo, più che l'acqua, infatti quando ho mangiato con lui indosso se n'è andato via lasciando solo il contorno labbra.
At the end of this review, I bet you noticed that I only had good experiences with these lipstick on. Oh, god...I'm in love. I already said all the positive things of this lipstick, yet there is still something I might want to point out. The color on the lips is more vivid and rich in real life respect to the colour you see in the tube. It's a color that might catch the attention on you, so if you think you can't handle it...don't buy it. The lasting power is reaaaaaaally good, and as you can see from the pics, It's really dumb-proof to apply even without primer and lip pencil, as I did, just overlapping my natural shape cause I want them to look fuller. It can make your teeth really yellow, cause the warm component is really strong. The only negative note is that when you eat food, it goes away easily and uneavenly, while it resists really well to water.
