Leaders Insolution è molto conosciuta proprio per le loro fantastiche sheet mask...decisamente più care delle classiche Innisfree o Etude House etc, ma anche molto più "efficaci". Le maschere non-proprio-invitanti che recensisco oggi mi sono state inviate dal Korean Smooch, che le ha scelte apposta per me quando ho detto che cercavo sempre prodotti per l'acne e i brufoli. Se siete insicure su cosa comprare, so per certo che il loro staff è molto competente, e vi sa consigliare benissimo ( Già l'ho visto provando la maschera di Lindsay scelta per me, e l'ho visto anche con queste maschere, che anticipo: mi sono stra-piaciute). Comunque, vi stavo parlando delle maschere di Leaders...
Le sheet mask sono sicuramente il "must have" del brand, che ne produce anche di più particolari, ma credo che le semplici maschere in cotone come queste siano il miglior trattamento last-minute per quando vogliamo dare una coccola extra alla pelle. Se volete investire un po' di più (ma neanche troppo) e comprare un prodotto che vale il prezzo che pagate, queste sheet masks fanno per voi. Ma lasciate che vi parli di ognuna di loro, visto che ciascuna ha le sue proprietà.
In generale sono maschere di qualità perchè sono fatte con un cotone bello spesso, e sono belle imbevute di essence. Devo ammettere che è una cosa molto buona dal mio punto di vista, e preferisco le maschere belle imbevute, e se non perdono liquido ovunque...tanto di cappello! C'era essence in eccesso che è andata a finire sul collo, ovvio. Nessuna maschera è perfetta, e questa aveva il suo punto debole: non riuscivo a coprire la parte della mandibola, dove ci sono le orecchie.
Leaders Insolution is very well known for their awesome sheet masks...definitely more expensive than the classic Innisfree or Etude house etc, but also more "effective". The not so fancy masks I'm going to review have been chosen by Korean Smooch, that I want to thank, as usual, for being so awesome and picking the right product for my skin!!! I mentioned them that I always look for things that can help me for my acne, and they were really helpful...so, if you're uncertain on what could be suited for your skin, I suggest you to contact their costumer service! Anyway, we were talking about the leaders masks, right? As I was saying, the "must haves" of the brand are their awesome sheet masks, and there are fancier one than these, but simple cotton sheet masks are definitely the easiest products to use when your skin is stressed. If you feel like splurging a bit (not too much), and buy a product worth the price, these sheet masks are for you. Let's jump in their review, because each one has their properties.
In general, these sheet masks are really good quality one because they are made of a nice thick cotton, they're all soaked up in a thick essence. I must admit that I reeeeeally like the fact that they were soaked up, but the essence didn't drop or slip around. There was some excess, of course, but it was easy to spread down my neck. Of course no sheet mask is perfect, and this one had a con: the mask couldn't cover the side of my jawline, close to the ears.
Ac Dressing Skin Clinic Mask
Ho aspettato di provare queste maschera in un momento in cui ero in una situazione situazione semi disperata. Momento preciclo, con tanti sfoghettini di causa ormonale persino sul naso, e in più lo stress ha giocato la sua parte...e tadam, mi sono ritrovata con viso rosso, brufoletti sottopelle e non.
Può una sheet mask fare miracoli? Ovviamente no, ma diventa spesso un aiuto momentaneo, una coccola oppure un trattamento d'urto EFFICACE.
La maschera AC-Dressing dovrebbe calmare l'irritazione, ridurre i brufoli e schiarire le cicatrici. Aiuta a ridurre i pori dilatati, l'eccesso di sebo e, allo stesso tempo, mantenere idratate anche le pelli più delicate. E' per lo più adatta a pelli grasse e tendenti all'acne, ovviamente; eppure, ho sperato potesse funzionare anche per me, visto che durante il ciclo la mia pelle diventa più grassa, e anche perchè riduce rossori e acne.
Non è fresca, anche avendola tenuta in frigo, ed ha un leggero odore di erbe officinali. La maschera, come già detto, era piena di essence e ciò l'ha resa scivolosissima ed appiccicosa sulla pelle. All'inizio ho sentito i miei brufoletti attivi bruciare un pochino, ma la sensazione di bruciore è sparita quasi subito. E' una cosa normale? Chi lo sa! Comunque ho tenuto la maschera a lungo, perchè non si asciugava più: ho superato i 30 minuti.
Di sicuro posso dire che ha calmato di molto il rossore attorno ai brufoli e alle aree più irritate, ma non ha calmato il rossore tanto quanto la maschera al Tea Tree. I brufoli attivi si sono ridotti in dimensione, non davano più fastidio al punto di doverli toccare. Ho avuto la sensazione che velocizzasse la guarigione. Ovviamente è promossa, e mi è molto piaciuta come maschera, anche perchè ha migliorato in generale la texture della pelle, migliorando soprattutto l'apparenza di pori e brufoli.
I waited the right moment to try this mask, a moment when I was in a semi-desperate situation: on my period, with lots of little pimples, ormonal breakouts even on my nose, redness & puffiness; if you consider that I also am very stressed, you see why my face was super red and all. Can a sheet mask do miracles? Obviously not, in fact I wouldn't consider it a remedy for scars etc, but it can be a useful treatment for urgent needs...and it's effective..
Ac-Dressing mask is supposed to gently soothe irritations, reduce pimples and scars. It is made to reduce the appearance of pores, reduce oiliness, while still supply gentle moisture to delicate skin.
It's mostly for acne prone and oily skin, obviously, but I hoped it could work for my skin too since during my period my skin gets oilier. I was really intrigued by the fact that it could reduce redness-irritations while fighting acne.
It's not that fresh, and it has a light persistent herbal scent. The sheet mask, as said before, was super full of thick essence and it felt slimy on the face. At the beginning I felt my pimples burning a bit, is that normal? Who knows! It calmed down after a while, and I just enjoyed my mask...I kept it on a lot, because the essence couldn't get absorbed and the mask was still wet after 30 minutes!
I can say that this mask calmed my active pimples redness and irritations areas in general, but it didn't calm redness overall, so in that case the Tea Tree mask feels better. The active pimples got reduced in size, and I had no strange feeling to make me touch them. I think it speed up the healing. Obviously I really liked this mask, so I really want to recommend it, and I want to stress on the fact that it made my skin texture look better in therms of pores and pimples.

Tea Tree Relaxing Skin Renewal Mask
Questa maschera contiene uno dei miei ingredienti preferiti: il Tea Tree! Ormai saprete del mio amore dichiarato per il Tea Tree...questo ingrediente funziona molto per me! Comunque: questa maschera dovrebbe aiutare a calmare il rossore e essere d'aiuto a chi ha pori intasati (aka brufoletti/punti neri). Anche in questo caso è' una maschera più adatta alle pelli grasse, ma avevo comunque grandi aspettative perchè prometteva di calmare i rossori ed in più, come molte cose contenenti tea tree, ha proprietà antibatteriche e antinfiammatorie. Di nuovo, ho utilizzato la maschera in periodo preciclo+esami, ho aspettato apposta ad usarle (come sono strateGGica! xD). La maschera, insieme a lottare contro i brufolazzi, dovrebbe lasciare la pelle super-rivitalizzata.
Quando la indossate non è poi così rinfrescante, anche se messa in frigo prima dell'uso. Una volta tolta, però, il viso è fresco e molto meno gonfio. L'odore de tea tree si sente moltissimo, ma non è fastidioso tanto da rovinare la maschera. Gli effetti calmanti sono evidenti in maniera assurda: il rossore è sparito, i brufoli sono meno gonfi e la pelle è radiosa ed idratata. Inoltre, notate la differenza di texture della pelle? Ci sono molti meno pori dilatati. Mi è piaciuta tantissimo, ed è decisamente da ricomprare.
This mask has one of my favorite ingredients in it: Tea tree! You know my declared love for Tea Tree already...it seems like this ingredient really works for me! By the way, this mask should help soothing redness and help with clogged pores. This is also more suited to oily skins, but I had great hopes for it because it says it calms redness, it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects...but it also should revitalize the skin. I was really intrigued by the fact that it could reduce redness-irritations while fighting acne. Again, I used this mask during my period, still on my exam session...I waited to test them both now that I'm super stressed (this is called strategy XD).
When it's on, it is not that refreshing, even if I put it in the fridge before using it. But, when you take it off, the skin feels fresh and less swelling. It has a noticeable tea tree smell, that it's not too overpowering. The calming effects are obviously evident, the redness disappear, the swelling of the pimples is reduced and the skin is soft and moisturized. Also...can we talk about enlarged pores and texture? They're all minimized. I really really liked the mask, because it's really effective and it's totally worth the price!

Queste due maschere mi sono state gentilmente inviate a scopo valutativo da Korean Smooch uno store francese che ha un sacco di brand coreani in voga fra le kbeauty blogger. I prezzi sono davvero molto vicini ai prezzi coreani, considerando il fatto che è un negozio europeo. Ovviamente spedisce in Italia e finalmente potrete acquistare brands diversi dai soliti Etude house, Skin79, Missha e compagnia bella E non avere il rischio della dogana! Quindi date un'occhiata allo store e divertitevi a scegliere qualcosa di nuovo :D
These two masks were sent to me for reviewing purpose by Korean Smooch, a french store that has tons of korean brands that are in vogue right now. Their prices are really close to the korean ones, and they offer shipping to Italy. Being a french store, you can finally purchase something different from the usual brands (skin79, Missha, etude house) etc at really good prices and being sure not to have problems with the custom.
