Avrete visto questa bottiglietta in più di uno dei video di Shaaanxo, da quando anche la famosa youtuber si è interessata ad acquistare coreano. Io ho la versione matte, lei la versione glossy, che sono indecisa se prendere o no, tanto per provare, visto che io ho una passione smoderata per il finish matte... Ma ciancio alle bande....(!) ed eccovi la review.

I bet you've already seen this petite bottle in some of Shaaanxo's videos, because she likes korean makeup too. I have the matte version though, while she has the glossy one. I'm curious to try that other version too, even if I don't really like the dewy/glossy finish...
But here we go with the review!
Introduciamo prima di tutto la Skinfood, visto che è la prima volta che recensisco un loro prodotto full size. (ho però fatto un sample day con una lip tint facebook, potete trovarlo qui ).
La Skinfood è una marca Drugstore, molto famosa anche all'estero, che rientra nella fascia di prezzo dei nostri L'oreal o Maybelline, quindi low cost, con picchi verso la media per alcuni prodotti. La filosofia di Skinfood è quella di portare i benefici del cibo nei prodotti di skincare. La linea "Red Orange" di cui fa parte questo fixer ha anche una bb craam in mousse ed una cipria, più l'altra versione del make up fixer dal finish "glossy".
Let's introduce Skinfood, because i think that this is the first time I do an in depth review on a Skinfood Product. Basically, Skinfood is a semi drugstore brand which has a lot of valuable products, both at cheap and high price. Skinfood's philosophy is to bring the good properties of food into skincare and makeup proucts. This makeup fixer is part of the "Red Orange Line", which consists in two fixers, a powder and a bb cream.
La bottiglietta è piccola, ma me l'aspettavo più grande. Sarà che sono abituata alla mia megasize di acqua termale avène o al mio Core Seed Purifying Mist di the Face shop...
In generale le bottigliette di spray/Mist che ho sono abbastanza grandi. Lo è lo spray Dust Cut di Etude House, lo è la Mist Core Seed Purifying di the Face shop... La mini size di fix plus di MAC che ho è di poco più piccola. Sarà che le mist citate non sono dei makeup fixer, oppure sarà che skinfood ha deciso di mettere solo 80 ml di prodotto in questo fixer? Non so, non so. Fatto sta che se usassi solo questo per fissare il mio makeup non credo durerebbe moltissimo. Inoltre...okay, la bottiglietta è carina, ma non è elegante come piace a me. Inoltre, non ha un vaporizzatore, ma un vero e proprio spruzzino...Quindi non bisogna vaporizzarlo troppo vicino al viso, altrimenti sarebbe come gettarsi acqua in faccia.
Come make up fixer non è male, devo ammettere che aiuta il make up a durare di più. Di solito utilizzo questo fixer ogni volta che vado all'università perchè ho sempre un lungo tragitto nei mezzi da fare, tutta appiccicata a millemila persone, in mezzo al caldo e l'afa. Bisogna dire che fa la differenza, perchè noto che resta tutto a suo posto molto più a lungo rispetto a quando uso il Fix+ di Mac o rispetto alla Dust cut mist di Etude house. Mi piace che, nonostante aiuti il fondotinta ad amalgamarsi e a sembrare più naturale, non compromette realmente il finish. Di matte infatti non vedo nulla, e a parte un leggero controllo dell'oleosità soprattutto attorno al naso, ma se un fondo è dewy, resta dewy e così via.
I must admit that this is really a nice makeup fixer, cause it helps the makeup stay on longer. Usually I use this product everytime I have to go to the university, and that means that I have to take the bus, the underground and so on, trapped with hundreds of people and in a hot-humid climate. I must say that in those days it makes the difference compared to other mists such as the Dust Cut mist from Etude House or the fix +, because the makeup doesn't really melt easily. I like that it helps the foundation to set into the skin and not onto it, and that makes it more natural without changing the finish. It's not matte...definitely, it doesn't mattify the skin, but it slightly control the oil mostly around the nose.
Nel complesso sono stati davvero dieci euro ben spesi, perchè penso che faccia il suo lavoro, si asciughi in tempi decenti ( tempi medi, non è così veloce ) e profumi di agrumi. E' leggermente idratante, e qui non capisco perchè dire che dà un finish "matte"...Mi sembra proprio il contrario! l'unica pecca è che 80 ml mi sembrano pochi se usati tutti i giorni. Sono tentata di ricomprarla, ma voglio provare altri fissanti, quindi aspetterò ancora un po'.
To Sum Up those have been 10 euros well spent. It does its job, it dries out quick enough and it smessls like oranges. It's lightly moisturizing, and it's supposed to be matte...but it's not. This is the only "flaw" together with the size of the bottle, only 80ml, which will end soon if you use it everyday. I'm really tempted to buy it again, but I want to try other fixers too...in bigger sizes, possibly!
