E quindi...

Here I am to share my summer skincare routine with you. To me, "Summer" means lightweight textures and less things. I also must warn you, I usually switch things depending on my skin conditions and I totally change my routine when I'm on my period.  Whenever I add something new, though, I do it whenever my routine has been tested already. So...let's start!

Today I had nothing to do except for going to the grocery store and stuff like that, so I decided to start testing some things I will review later on and to try on some random things for our Sample Day. One, as you can see, is the Skinfood Tint, the other is the Face Conditioning Cream by Etude house, something I'v heard a shitons of things about and everyone loooooves it. We'll see. While, for the third thing I'm testing...surprise surprise! Well, no...It's not exactly a surprise, because if you read me on facebook you may probably already know that i'm talking about some products that will be featured in a collaboration with my adored Barbara from So Barbylicious. so...stay tune, pretty pleeeease?

Let's Start.

Today we are talking about a lip tint. A lip tint is a products made to give you a light tint of color on the lips, and it is made to sink in and gently fade away to let a durable and slightly noticeable stain. They're not lipstick, of course, and they're mostly used to do the gradient lips, super-uber famous between koreans, also because make up artists always say that gradient lips make you look younger.

Oh My Gosh, this sample is really cute. I must say that I have a lot of Sample from Skinfood and they mostly look lovely, exactly like their full size products. This tints went out with the JUNGLE FRUITS summer collection, and they come in a packaging that reminds a fruit juice bottle.
The tint I got was the orange one, number 2 Real Fresh Mandarin, a really bright orange that reminds me one of the Etude House limited edition colors lip tint that I reviewed a while ago, and I must say that it is the same color.

Quindi, penserete che io adesso bocci il prodotto o me ne lamenti...E INVECE NO.

The product is not too liquid as many tints are, but it's slightly gelly. It has been really comfortable to apply, and easy to manage because it doesn't run and it's not liquid so...easssssy EASY APPLICATION! And I'm going to scream to the miracle, because this is seriously the first time that I find a lip tint that I might like.

Gradient lips

The colour is really vivid, but it tones down quickly. I must say that after a hour the product has been soaked by my lips that now are all orangey-like. I have dry lips most of the time, so I usually tend to not wear lipsticks during the day, I just put on my nyx butter glosses and let it go. On the other hand, We all know that lip tints usually dry the lips, so you must have thought "she will complain about this lip tint, I'm sure it dried out her lips" WEEEEEEELLL
no.
I mean, of course this tint clinged to my dry little patches on the lips, but the texture is really comfortable and soft tha I....I could even say that I love lip tints now. No, wait...I really enjoyed this lip tint, that's all. Once applied, the glossy finish has become matte, and I could notice that the tint was set into the skin, but i didn't feel as if she dried it out my lips. I talked, and then I ate and drank, and the lip tint obediently stayed on, it has just faded away on the center of the lips. Also, I felt very comfortable in wearing this liptint until I took it off with my cleanser. I must say that, with all the regular things I did with it, this tint lasted me 4 hours, then after the fourth hour it has started to fade. First it has become a dark burnt orange, then the hint of orange was barely visible when my natural dark color came through.

Well, that's it. this lip tint really surprised me, because seriously...it's been a pleasure wearing it. If you are a lip tint junkie (my opposite) I suggest you to give it a try!
