Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-talk | Review

Non è che io voglia ammorbarvi con tutte queste recensioni della Etude House, però vi tocca, perchè sto cercando di variare fra trucchi e prodotti di skincare... E questi rossetti, pur avendoli, ancora non li avevo recensiti.

I'm sorry if the number of Etude House products I'm reviewing is becoming embarassingly huge, but I had these lipsticks and still haven't reviewed them so, since I'm trying to balance Makeup and Skincare reviews...You have to read my constant blabbing about an Etude House product again. I'm sorry...or maybe not.

A parte l'edizione limitata Etude Pink, della linea Dear My Blooming Lips talk ho solo altri due rossetti. Con uno ho voluto andare sul sicuro ed ho comprato una colorazione "scura", la PK015, con l'altro ho deciso di buttarmi su qualcosa di pazzo, il PK012 ovvero un fucsia accesissimo, quasi neon. Fanno parte dell'ampliamento della linea "Pink Talk" che fecero molto tempo fa aggiungendo tutte tonalità rosa fredde che mancavano nella linea originale.

Che dire? Il packaging si commenta da solo, ultra femminile ed ultra principesco. Il tubetto ha la chiusura a scatto, non è fragile e non si macchia troppo di ditate. Il rossetto all'interno ha la tipica forma appuntita dei rossetti "classici", cosa che mi piace soprattutto per via del fatto che non hanno una scomoda forma rotonda che per me è anche inestetica (vedi i rossetti Laneige, Dior, ecc...)...non so, non mi piace molto.  Sul prodotto c'è impresso il logo della marca.

Aside from the limited edition color "Etude Pink", I only have these other two lipsticks from their Dear My Blooming Lips Talk line. I love dark colours, so I went for a safe dark shade (at least, I thought it was when I bought it) that is PK015, and I also bought a crazy neon pink shade (which is not really my style) called PK012. Both of them are from the "Pink Talk" line.

What to say? The packaging, you see, doesn't need explaination or introductions. Whenever you talk about Etude House you think about princess-like and girly packagings; this one is no exception. A huge plus is that it doesn't get dirty. The lipstick inside is pointed, which is awesome because I adore this kind of "classic shape" in a lipstick. The attention on details is huge there, because these lipsticks always have the Etude House embossed logo on the product.

Sono rossetti molto burrosi ed idratanti, si stendono facilmente e risultano molto scriventi e coprenti sin da subito. Non c'è nessun matte nella linea, sono tutti leggermente lucidi o con piccoli glitter. Poichè sono molto coprenti di per sè, non c'è bisogno di stratificarli, anche se è possibile fare più passate senza problemi. Non sono rossetti longlasting o no transfer...Al contratio, la durata non è esattamente il massimo, e sporcano un sacco (per esempio i bordi dei bicchieri se bevete, o i colletti delle camicie se per caso vi ci strusciate ). Non consiglierei di indossarli senza una matita o una matita trasparente per il contorno labbra, perchè tendono ad entrare nelle pieghette. A meno che non abbiate pellicine moleste, questi rossetti sono idratanti e non enfatizzano la secchezza delle labbra.

The texture is buttery and moisturizing, they spread easily on the lips, and already have a nice coverage from the first application. There aren't real matte shades in this line, these lipsticks have a slightly shiny or satin finish, but they're never completely matte. There is no need to build the colour up, unless you really feel the need to, but they don't look overly cakey anyway. Those are definitely not longlasting or no transfer products; their durability isn't high, and they dirty clothes/glasses/scarves or whatever a lot.  I would never suggest to wear them without a lip liner, because 1) they tend to sink into the lips fine lines, 2) they will smudge. If you don't have overly dry lips with flaky skin, these lipsticks don't really emphasize dryness -they're moisturizing after all.

Parto dal fatto che non sono fan dei rossetti della Etude, perchè sono buoni, ma non fantastici... Ormai devo ammettere che sono troppo abituata ai rossetti MAC, che durano un sacco, quindi non sono esattamente soddisfatta di questi. C'è da dire che sono comunque rossetti da "drugstore", quindi vanno giudicati anche in base a questo. Guardandoli dal punto qualità/prezzo, sono decisamente consigliati. Come per molte linee di rossetti coreani, la pecca principale è che ci sono solo colori chiari, tutti molto accesi, e soprattutto...Un sacco di rosa. Colori come "cyber" di MAC ce li sognamo. In termini di varietà, quindi, ci siamo e non ci siamo, perchè ci sono un sacco di variazioni della stessa tonalità, ma poche tonalità di base e tutte chiare. Insomma, sono i tipici rossetti da tutti i giorni. Sicuramente sono perfetti per le gradient lips, perchè sono cremosi, ma non troppo. Nel complesso, ve li consiglio se cercate dei rossetti poco costosi, dall'aspetto e dalle colorazioni molto femminili, e che non siano eccessivamente impegnativi.

I'm not a huge fan of my Etude Lipsticks; they're good, but not awesome. I must admit that I'm probably too used to my Mac lipsticks and they really last for a long time. Things must be said...Those are drugstore products, so I'm judging them basing my opinions on this fact. I would suggest them if you like moisturizing lipsticks, just because the price (less than 10 euro) is good for the quality. Just like many korean brands, Etude House has a lot of pinks and bright colors, but lacks in dark shades. Basically they're all typical everyday colors or colors that you often use for gradient lips and such. If you're looking for a good lipstick from drugstore brands, you can definitely check them out.
