Secret Key Witchazel Pore Clear Toner | Review

Here I am getting ready for my September exam session, and I’m not happy at all. Even if I’m not really active on my facebook page, I keep writing because I don’t want to abandon the blog to itself…xD
So..let’s go into today’s review, which is about a toner from Secret Key that I purchased something like a year ago…and still haven’t finished. Can you believe it?

Eccomi a prepararmi per la mia sessione d’esami di Settembre, e non sono per niente felice.  Anche se non sono molto attiva su facebook, continuo a scrivere perchè non voglio abbandonare il blog a se stesso. Quindiiii…la review di oggi è su un toner di Secret Key che ho acquistato più di un anno fa…ma che non ho ancora finito. Ci credete?!

I was looking for a toner that could clean pores and tighten them back after my usual clay mask (which has been Innisfree Jeju Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask for the longest time ), but I hadn’t much money to spend.  This  toner from Secret Key seemed a good option for only 6$!
Secret Key is known for making a lot of “dupes” of higher brands products, both western and korean, but with a cheaper price. With this I don’t want to put shades on this brand, because many of its things are really good and at an affordable price; after all maaaaaany brands copy here and there (let’s think about lancome’s cushion etc..) – and, I’m always happy to find good products at good price. I think that this hazelnut toner is simply their version of the Mizon’s  one.

Stavo cercando un toner che pulisse I pori e che fosse anche astringente, per usarlo dopo la mia maschera di routine ( che è quella Innisfree, che uso da ormai un sacco di tempo. ) , ma non avevo molti soldini a disposizione. Questo toner di Secret Key era una buona opzione per 6$! Secret Key è famosa per fare un sacco di prodotti dupes di altri marchi famosi, sia coreani che non. Con questo non sto facendo nessuna critica, perché comunque brands più famosi lo fanno e/o hanno fatto (vedi Lancome e il suo cushion…), anzi, sono sempre felice di trovare dei duplicati ad un prezzo minimo ed altrettanto validi…W il risparmio! Comunque, suppongo che questi siano la copia dei Toner Mizon.

The bottle is really nothing fancy, so I don’t really want to spend time describing…nothing. It’s good in therms of resistence, but it’s too big to carry around. The product itself is a liquid that it’s just like water.

There are five different toners, but I bought the witch hazel one.  Witchazel is good to clean the pores from dirt, so it’s a common ingredient in products made for pore care.

La bottiglia non è niente di fantastico, quindi non ho intenzione di perdere tempo per descrivere...il nulla °-°  E' molto resistente, perchè è plastica, ma è comunque troppo grande da portare in giro con facilità. Il prodotto in se' è uguale all'acqua, ha proprio la stessa consistenza ma un odore diverso.

Ci sono cinque toner differenti, ma io ho acquistato questo all Witch Hazel ( che sarebbe l'Amamelide), che è ottimo per ripulire i pori e regolare il sebo in eccesso.

Being just like water, it absorbs just like water. It’s not fresh, and it seems not to have anything special. I use it with cotton puffs or with my hands; in both cases it was easily absorbed and it didn’t give me any bad reaction or breakouts. I think the most useful way to use it is to put it on an embossed cotton and use it for gentle exfoliation; the benefit of witchazel will help to clean the superficial dirt on the skin. I honestly used it before and after my masks, but I didn’t see any change, that’s why I started to use it everyday… It didn’t tighten my pores or did anything to help to soothe my aftermask-skin. On the other hand, I think it was pretty much useful as everyday random toner. It leaves the skin soft, not really hydrated, but still it does no harm to the skin and it’s good to take off the last residues of makeup. I wouldn’t use it with my chemical exfoliators, though.  It’s just a random toner that I happened to try, and it’s nice if you don’t have any particular skin issue…and most of all, maybe it’s a good cheap choice if you don’t have money.

Essendo di consistenza simile all'acqua, si assorbe come fosse acqua. Non è fresco, e non sembra avere nulla di speciale. lo uso con i miei dischetti di cotone o con le mani; in tutti e due i casi si assorbe facilmente e non mi ha fatto venire nessuna irritazione/reazione allergica. Il metodo più utile per utilizzarlo è di metterlo su un dischetto di cotone di quelli trapuntati ed usarlo per una gentile esfoliazione; i benefici dell' Amamelide aiuteranno a pulire la superficie della pelle. L'ho usato prima e dopo le maschere (tipo quelle d'argilla) ma non ho mai visto nessun cambiamento, quindi ho iniziato ad usarlo ogni giorno. Non ha ridotto i pori dilatati e non ha fatto nulla per calmare la pelle dopo le maschere e nono. Eppure, credo sia stato un toner decente da tutti i giorni; lascia la pelle morbida, sebbene non proprio idratata, ma comunque non l'aggredisce... Diciamocelo, è perfetto per togliere i residui di makeup. Non lo userei con i miei esfolianti chimici, però. e' solo un toner a random che ho provato per caso, e se avete pelle normale magari potreste provarlo. Oppure, se siete con un budget limitato, è una buona scelta tuttofare, ma niente di più.
