Recensire maschere come questa è un lavoro breve e semplice, che si potrebbe sintetizzare in: fatene scorta, ciurma! Ma dato che voglio essere un po' seria, parliamone un po' più approfonditamente :')
Trying to review a sheet mask is always a pain in the ass and a hard work, and in this case I could make it simple and tell you: Go buy it right now! But Since this is a serious blog, I'll talk about it anyway.:')
Queste sheet mask, al contrario delle sorelle che hanno la base in tessuto, sono invece fatte di silicone, leggero e sottile, ma sono comunque imbevute di essence. Non bisogna pensare che l'essence o il siero contenuti all'interno siano in gel, anzi...sono comunque in forma liquida, ma la consistenza è più viscosa.
Those sheet masks, on the contrary of their tissue-like sisters, are made in silicone, they're light and thin, but still dunked in the essence. The essence/serum in it isn't a gel texture, but it's still liquid. Trying to apply a sheet mask, wether in tissue or gel type it's a hard work in general, but probably for me it's harder since I'm not exactly a capable person, and it always becomes a mess trying not to make dripping the essence. This one was tricky...I haven't been at this level of messiness until now tho! Hydrogel masks get their names from the material that makes the mask, which is silicone (the actual shape, I'm not talking about the ingredients of the essence in it). It is made by two different pieces, one for the upper part of the face, the other for the lower. Both are stuck to a hard plastic stencil, and you have to peel it off and stick to the face. The silicone is slightly porous, maybe to stick better to the face or to the plastic thingy... However, since the essence this mask is soaked in is really liquidi, it's hard to take out the mask without getting all dirty...I made a real mess to apply it, also because I wasn't sure of which one was the right side. It was also hard to open the stencil and unfold the masks, cause they are folded like a sandwich in the package.
Applicare una sheet mask è sempre un lavoro comparabile a spaccare le rocce nelle miniere di Satana, perchè, complice la mia celebre accortezza nel fare le cose, diventa un casino applicarle senza sbrodolarsi di liquido. Però diciamo che finora me l'ero cavata senza troppi traumi con le mie altre sheet masks...finora.
Come per tutte le maschere dette"hydrogel" o comunque che hanno il corpo in silicone (il corpo, non il prodotto di cui sono imbevute eh!), oltre ad essere piegate su se stesse, la sheet siliconica è appoggiata e ripiegata a sandwich all'interno di una forma in plastica che la separa dalla confezione di carta su tutti e due i lati. Nel caso di questa maschera Innisfree, la maschera in silicone non è un tutt'uno, ma è divisa in due. C'è una parte per la fronte, naso e occhi, e un'altra per la zona di bocca e mascella. Il silicone di cui è fatta la maschera è leggermente poroso da un lato, visto che deve appiccicarsi alla pellicola protettiva di plastica. Come ho già detto, quest'ultima è dura, e serve a tenere la sheet mask chiusa a pressione. Questa cosa mi ha sconvolta perchè ho fatto un macello assurdo per capire il lato dove applicarla.
Secondo la leggenda, bisognerebbe aprire la confezione e dispiegare la sheet mask. Beh, questa era divisa in due, ripiegata, appiccicosa... Ovviamente ho fatto cadere un botto di essence sul letto e sui pantaloni. Non potendo mettere le due parti nello stesso momento, ho dovuto appoggiarne una sulla confezione vuota, ma comunque l'essence colava...e le mie coperte piangevano. Ho usato due strategie per applicare questi due pezzi di maschera. La prima è stata "dispiegamento casuale", affidata alla passione e alla fortuna, ho tentato di appiccicarmela in fronte senza gocciolare troppo. Mission failed. La seconda è stata "strategia della disperazione", dove ho lasciato che l'essence mi colasse addosso mentre con una calma stranissima - dovuta proprio alla disperazione- mi spiaccicavo, grazie alla pellicola rigida, la maschera sul viso e poi tiravo via questa pellicola neanche fosse un tatuaggio dei Polaretti. In entrambi i casi, il prodotto mi ha fatto una doccia non richiesta. No, vabbè, non esageriamo...Però colava tanto e ho macchiato tuta e coperte.
The first impression on my face was to have a refreshing liquid that smelled like herbs, just like the other tea tree masks, but the refreshing sensation lasted during the whole time the mask was on my face. As far as I noticed, when the mask sticks to your face, it doesn't slide away or something, because I wore it while I was at my computer and also when I was cleaning... and it didn't fall! Also, when it comes to face masks, some don't fit your face, you really must be lucky to find a perfect face size. This one was normal for mine, i guess, except for the lower part that was a little bit too short. Also, since this is an hydrogel mask and it's for acne care, it hasn't the little piece of sheet that go on the eyes.
La prima impressione sul viso è quella di sentire una costante freschezza, e un piacevole odore di erbe. Questa è più o meno la sensazione che molte maschere danno, quindi non me ne stupisco. Il punto è che con questa, vuoi per il tipo di essence, vuoi perchè è una hydrogel, il viso lo sento fresco anche dopo 20 minuti. In termini di aderenza al viso, sta su senza staccarsi, non ho avuto problemi di scivolosità. Un'altra cosa importante da considerare è come la maschera sta sul viso, perchè non tutte le maschere sono facilmente gestibili da questo punto di vista. Questa era molto più larga del previsto sulla fronte, e poco coprente nella zona del mento. Essendo trouble care, non aveva i pezzetti di maschera destinati agli occhi, E' preformata, ma ha vari taglietti per adattarsi al viso. La texture della maschera è appunto molto porosa, invece l'essence è un gel acquoso e scivoloso.
This mask is made to suit acne prone skins, both cistic and ormonal acne, or to clear your skin if you're stressed. it's really moisturizing but also lightweight, and it helps a lot with redness. this is one of the most effective products I've ever tried when it comes to redness, but also to depuff bumps or pimples on your skin. After every use I notice that the skin is less irritated, more smooth and calm. It helps to deflate new pimples, and does the same also When it comes to red bumps or little spots under the skin. I can't say that makes them completely disappear, but if you feel that your skin gets angry, this mask could be the right solution for you. I can easily say that I love both this one and the one from Missha, while I'm also testing the Tea Tree one from Etude House and...I'll tell you about them in another post! Overall, I like everything about this mask but the packaging, and somehow tea tree is really effective on my skin. I use it sparingly, because I don't want my skin to get used to it. So it's an hydrogel mask that I would suggest to use when the skin is in a really bad condition. I keep repurchase this mask everytime, so I can't do anything but to suggest it.
Questa sheet mask è adatta a chi ha una pelle problematica, ovvero ha sfoghi da stress o soffre di acne. Oltre ad essere molto idratante e leggera, aiuta tantissimo con i rossori, calmandoli fino a farli sparire. Sgonfia i brufoli sottopelle, nel senso che la pelle è più levigata e calmata, con le irritazioni quasi del tutto sparite. Con questo non voglio dire che faccia miracoli...ma qualcosa del genere! Quindi, se sentite che la pelle si sta "arrabbiando" o che sta per uscirvi un brufolo, potete usare questa maschera e passerà tutto. La Pure surce al Tea tree di Missha è l'unica che mi ha dato risultati così sorprendenti (parlando di maschere per le imperfezioni), ma continuo a pensare che questa maschera non sia da utilizzare tutti i giorni, ma in casi particolari, quando la pelle è proprio in crisi. Questo, perchè non vorrei che la pelle vi si abituasse... Comunque, questa maschera dovreste almeno provarla, perchè fin'ora è una delle mie preferite, ed è di ottima qualità. Consigliatissima!
