Etude House "Princess Happy Ending" Collection | Mini Review

Tardi come sempre, eccomi qui a condividere le mie impressioni sui pochi pezzi che ho acquistato di questa collezione.
Onestamente il resto delle cose non mi attirava, ed ora che ci penso, se non per il packaging, nemmeno questi pezzi mi attiravano chissà quanto! Lo so, non è una bella introduzione, ma alla fine tutto è relativo perchè c'è a chi invece questi prodottini potrebbero piacere...

I'm late as usual, because I take a ridiculous amount of time to use and review things, and when it comes to limited editions...it's not really a good thing! I bought very few things from this collection, because I don't really like limited edition things...I started not to chase after the ones from MAC, and now I'm starting not to chase after the korean limited edition stuff (except few things, really!).

Ho preso i due rossetti, uno della mini collezione dedicata a Biancaneve, ed uno di quella dedicata a Belle. L'altro prodotto che ho preso è stato il blush della collezione di Belle -la mia preferita, se proprio devo dirla tutta - di cui mi piaceva anche l'altro blush, ma che poi non ho preso non so perchè. Hanno avuto successo anche gli ombretti in crema, che ricordano gli Illusion D'Ombre de Chanel...I colori però non erano il massimo per me, quindi ho lasciato stare anche quelli.
Semplicemente, questa collezione era fatta da prodotti in repackaging, tranne per gli smalti ed i blush. Mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio, in ogni caso, proprio a livello di packaging, visto che con le principesse Disney ci si sarebbe potuti sbizzarrire.

I bought two lipsticks, one from the mini Snowhite's collection and the other from Belle's collection. Plus, I also bought one of the rose blushers, still from the Belle's collection. Overall I think they shouldn't have made this collection...as they did. They could have made four different collections for each princess and curate more the packagings and the products, since both are just repromoted with a new packaging. The most famous products from the collection were the cream eyeshadows, that looked like the Illusion D'Ombre by Chanel (and I haven't bought cause I have too many eyeshadow in cream!) and the blushers, that I regret I didn't buy both. 

In generale, entrambi i rossetti sono molto molto molto cremosi, anche più di un creamsheen di Mac. Ovviamente se volete labbra perfette, con un colore pieno e che duri, aspettatevi di dover applicare una matita. Difatti il peggior difetto di questi rossetti è che sbavano ovunque se non vengono controllati. Semplicemente avere colori così particolari con questo finish è davvero qualcosa di pericoloso, perchè sono due colori accesi e che non perdonano se vengono stesi male. Essendo morbidi e malleabili, si finishe spesso per sporcare il tubetto durante l'applicazione, cosa che davvero non sopporto. Sono sheer, cioè una volta applicati, anche se cremosi, lasciano intravedere il colore delle labbra. Entrambi sono perfetti per le persone con labbra disidratate o per le fans delle gradient lips, perchè sono modulabili e facili da lavorare. Ma, appunto, il loro forte non è la durata. Insomma, non sono il genere di rossetti che metterei ad un evento importante. I colori però sono davvero carini. "Apple Red Lips" è un rosso pomodoro acceso, mentre " Princess happy Ending" è un viola molto particolare, che mi ricorda Violetta di Mac. Tra i due, direi che è quello che mi piace di più perchè non ho rossetti del genere, mentre Apple Red Lips è un rosso abbastanza comune ed i rossi con questo finish non mi piacciono. La cosa che mi ha attirato, alla fine, è stato il packaging, che è in plastica ma con varie decorazioni stampate. Potete vedere dalle foto, ognuno dei packaging richiama la principessa rispettiva... e il mio preferito è quello rosa e dorato di Belle. Un dettaglio carinissimo è che sulla confezione di ognuno dei lipstick abbiamo una frase diversa;  per Cenerentola c'è scritto "i want so much more than thy've got planned", mentre per Biancaneve "Everything is going to be alright". Etude House li descrive come "moist lipstick", ed è decisamente quello che sono, perchè idratanto...Di contro, non mi piace la durata e questo genere di finish sui rossetti scuri, quindi non sono decisamente fatti per me.

Generally, both lipsticks are overly creamy...even more than the MAC Creamsheen ones. If you want perfect lips, with a perfect contour and longlasting colour, expect to have to work a lot with those lipstick, and to reapply multiple layers of them. The most annoying thing is that these lipsticks are runny and creamy, so they budge. I really don't like when this happens, because I don't want to always pay attention and have lipstick all over my face. It's not a good idea to make this kind of dark colours with this kind of finish. Of course, these lipstick would be perfect for people that like gradient lips because it's easy to work with on a light base such as concealed lips. I would never rely on them for an important event, tho.
 The Snowhite lipstick is "Apple Red Lips" and it's a bright tomato red; on its packaging it's written "everything is going to be alright". The Cinderella lipstick is called "Purple Rose Lips" and it's a reddish violet that reminds me of Violetta, sometimes, while sometimes of  Rebel. On its packaging it's written "I want so much more than they've got planned".
Honestly, I bought these lipstick just for the packaging; they're not the best, in my opinion, and they're definitely not made for me. But remember, Etude House describe them as "moist lipstick that comes with clear color and rich moisture", so they're just like they've been described by the producer.

Il Blush della collezione Belle è una meraviglia sia per il colore, che per la forma di rosa. C'erano due colorazioni, di cui questa "2 Coral Shine Rose" è quella più calda, mentre l'altro era un rosa freddo. Il packaging non è niente di che, stavolta non c'erano nè uno specchio, nè un applicatore...cosa che mi ha lasciata basita. Sono abituata ad avere almeno uno specchietto insieme al mio blush! Inolte, penso sarebbe stato più carino con l'aggiunta di specchio e pennellino. Tuttavia, il fatto che sia a forma di rosa me lo fa guardare con occhi a cuoricino, e rimpiango di non aver comprato anche l'altro.

Il colore, poi, è stupendo. E' un rosa pesca caldo con dei microglitter dorati, ed indossato risulta quasi satinato; E' un colore molto luminoso che indosso spesso ora che l'inverno è finito, mentre in inverno preferisco indossare Bella Bamba di Benefit (leggermente più scuro e cupo.). Nonostante io lo prelevi con il pennello e sia poco delicata, la forma a rosa è ancora perfettamente visibile...Mentre invece il mio illuminante di Anna Sui si è subito rovinato.

The blush from the Belle's collection is wonderful; it has a wonderful colour, and a wonderful shape. When you wear it it has a satin feenish that it's fantastic, very luminous. The warm pink has some gold glitters that give it this luminosity, but the glitters aren't chunky at all. It comes out lighter than Bella Bamba from Benefit, that it's darker and the only blush that  own that has a  similiar colour. I still prefer this one for summer days. Of course, the packaging is girly and very charming; on the other side, it doesn't come with a mirror, which I highly dislike, because they could've curated more the packagings of the whole collection. I know that having a piece like this could make you think "oh it's better if I don't touch it" because your brush could run the rose, but I used it quite often (I switch blushes often though...) and the rose shape is still there. I also have Anna Sui Rose blush, and using it...It made disappear the roses, so...Definitely this blush here is less delicate.
