Etude House Sweet Recipe All Over Color | Blueberry Cheescake & Strawberry Chiffon Cake

La review di oggi è su due prodotti multiuso  della Etude House, usciti con una collezione di circa un anno fa chiamata "Sweet Recipe", di cui alcune cose erano in limited edition...a quanto pare, questi non lo sono, perchè li vedo ancora in giro. Io li ho comprati su Beautynet Korea, ma potete trovarli senza dogana sul sito BBCream Shop, rispettivamente qui per la colorazione Blueberry Cheesecake e qui per la colorazione Strawberry Chiffon Cake, che sono le colorazioni che ho io.

Today's review is about two multipurpose products from the Etude House range; they went out with the "Sweet Recipe" collection and I guess they're not part of the limited edition products because they're still out in the market. I bought mine on BeautynetKorea, but if you're from Europe, you can find the on BB Cream Shop (links up in the italian version). The colors I bought are Blueberry Cheescake and Strawberry Chiffon Cake.

Come per mooolti prodotti della Etude House, si potrebbe spendere una vita intera a parlare del packaging, ma tutti sapete che sono stra carini e pensati per noi donnicciuole. Questi, in particolare, vengono vendute con una confezione che ricorda le scatole del pasticciere. In più, la scatolina di latta che li contiene, è a forma di pasticcino. Nomi e colori non sono casuali, ovviamente... Ognuno ha il colore e l'odore corrispettivo al nome, Cheescake ai Mirtilli e Torta soffice alla fragola. Il profumo è davvero buono, oltretutto!

Prima di tutto, sono dei prodotti in crema (c'è anche la versione ombretto) e sono fatti per essere usati su occhi, guance e labbra (cito lo stesso sito BBCreamShop). La prima impressione che ho avuto toccandoli è quella di toccare un profumo solido, e hanno bisogno di un po' di tempo per riscaldarsi a contatto con la pelle.

Non consiglierei di applicarli con un pennello, sia perchè sono poco scriventi di per sè, sia perchè comunque la texture è molto asciutta (probabilmente perchè è un prodotto multiuso).

Sembrano essere pigmentati se swatchati, ma sfumati diventano molto chiari e bisogna costruire poco a poco il colore. Sono però molto sfumabili e danno davvero un tocco di colore da guanciotte in salute.

Strawberry Chiffon Cake - è un rosa molto vivido nel barattolino, più chiaro una volta applicato e soprattutto, meno carico. un colore da tutti i giorni.
Blueberry Cheescake -  un lilla-rosato vivido, tende molto più verso i toni freddi che non Strawberry Chiffon Cake, e la componente rosata è davvero evidente. E' molto sheer una volta applicato.
Questi colori tipo il lilla o il viola sono molto comuni fra i Blush coreani, perchè aiutano ad illuminare il viso se applicati al centro delle guance.

As for many Etude House products, I could spend my whole life telling you how much they're cute and all. Actually, these products in particular, are really cutely packaged; they have a plastic container that looks like the plastic wraps patisseries put on their sweets! Plus, each color comes in a metal package painted like a sweet...I have, in fact, a Blueberry Cake and a Strawberry cupcake.

Colors and Names aren't casual, because each one of these is heavily scented and has a color that recalls its name.

First thing first, those are in a creamy version (there are the eyeshadows too) and are a multipurpose product that can be used on the lid (quoting BbCreamShop) and (mostly) on cheeks and lips. The first impression when you touch them it's like touching a solid perfume, and it needs a bit for them to warm up under your skin. I wouldn't suggest to apply them with a brush, because the texture isn't creamier as a cream blush, and I think that's because they wanted to keep it drier for putting them safely on the lids. They seem to be really pigmented, but they're really sheer; they give a good healthy look to the cheeks. It's easy to blend them, but if you want a noticeable color (and I'm talking about people with darker skintones) you'll have to build up the color. Don't worry, they're blendable and not patchy. 

Strawberry Chiffon Cake is a vivid pink; it looks darker in the pan, but once applied it's the typical pinky color, very common to find in Korea. I think it's the perfect go-to color, but it has a cool undertone that doesn't suits too warm eyeshadows.

Blueberry Cheese cake is a vivid lilac color, that becomes even paler and slightly pinkish on the skin. I would probably say that it's the typical lilac blush, a really common color in Korean because it is said to brighten up the complexion. It's true, and it really brings up light on your face; I would sugges to put it on the apple of your cheeks to have a healthy glow.

Devo ammettere che sono prodotti utili come base per il blush, oppure, in estate, sono blush molto carini da usare per look più semplici. Non è un prodotto che cerco spesso nel mio beautycase, anche perchè non vado pazza per i prodotti in crema e poi non vorrei rovinare il packaging...Nel complesso, si è rivelato, per me, un prodotto inutile. Un acquisto impulsivo.
Funzionano molto bene come blush, ma non come lip balm (troppo secchi) nè come ombretti (troppo poco secchi), quindi la dicitura "multiuso" non credo sia esatta. Non li ricomprerei per usarli...però il packaging <3.

I must admit that these are useful base products for blushes, or, during the summer, to use as blush themselves. It's not a product that I reach for often, and I must admit that it's been an impulse buy just because of the packaging. This is not an efficient multiuse product, as itworks well as blush, but not as lip product (too dry) or eyeshadow (too creamy)...so it's pretty much something you would like just for the packaging.
