Etude House Collagen Eye Patch | Review

Se non si fosse ancora capito, sono reduce da una sessione d'esami distruttiva sia dal punto di vista psicologico che fisico...Per il lato fisico posso ancora fare qualcosa e rimettermi in carreggiata, quindi Olè! Un'altra maschera da recensire.

Have I told you that I had my exams until now? Probably I did-- but it's good to remind it, since you're going to see a lot of masks and all. And because I've really messed up my blog schedule. 

Beh, non parliamo proprio di maschere, ma di eye patch. Queste sono molto vendute, e sono delle eye patch al collagene di Etude House che ho ricevuto con un ordine da W2Beauty. Sono in confezione singola, non esiste la versione multipack...meh!
Praticamente vi arriveranno racchiuse in una confezione di plastica con dei separatori non rigidi, quindi prima di applicarle state attenti, perchè potreste non accorgervi della pellicola che li separa.
Le patch in sè sono di tessuto poroso, non in gel come pensavo fossero, ed hanno una forma simmetrica, cioè non importa da che lato le applicate perchè non c'è una parte da mettere all'interno e una all'esterno: sono palesemente uguali, a prova di homos demens ;D.

Today I won't talk about masks but I'm going to do a mini review about a famous eye patch from Etude House which I received in a W2Beauty order long ago, but never used because...Well collagen can be too nurishing much for my skin, and makes it greasy, and sometimes makes it breaking out. 
They're in a single pack that contains two patches, and the package has two soft plastic dividers to separate the patches. The patch itself isn't an hydrogel, but it looks more like a cotton mask with a prous surface...It's hard to explain. 

Non credo ci sia nulla da dire sull'applicazione....A parte che un sacco del gel va perso nella confezione. Se volete utilizzarlo, potete o spalmarlo sulle patch una volta applicate quando vedete che si stanno asciugando, oppure applicarlo come gel contorno occhi una volta che andate a dormire.
Ovviamente, essendo a base di collagene, sono fatte per aiutare la pelle ad essere più elastica e compatta, e servono a rimpolpare la zona perioculare e diminuire le rughette.
Il mio tipo di occhio presenta le tipiche rughette da disidratazione e le zampette di gallina; con questo non voglio lamentarmi, ma è proprio la tipologia di occhio che ho io ad essere così. Ciò, insieme ad una pelle molto secca, non aiuta molto a farmi sembrare giuovincella. Queste eyepatch dovrebbero andare bene per te, direte voi! Io però non ne ero sicura, perchè il collagene risulta sempre troppo nutriente per la mia pelle... ma le ho provate comunque (che sacrifici!) per vedere com'era la situation.

I don't think there is a lot to say about the application... The only negative thing is that a lot of gel gets wasted in the package, but you can apply it on the patches when you feel that they're drying, or you can use it as moisturizing gel.
Obviously, collagen is meant to nourish the skin and make it plump, so it's useful to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. My eye shape (my eyes tend to go down) are prone to develop wrinkles at the corners, and  also have fine lines because my skin is really dry... So I hoped that these patches could help with this problem at least. I know that I'm still young and wrinkles aren't a major issue, but I already have some, and I also wanted to see if there were going to be some improvements.

In breve: mi piace la sensazione leggera del gel, mi piace che si assorba bene. Il fitting mi lascia indifferente, anche se vorrei coprisse un po' di più verso i lati. In termini di effetti benefici posso dire che queste patch nutrono, idratano e rimpolpano la zona su cui vengono applicate. Non hanno effetto sbiancante nè riducono borse/occhiaie. Non calmano i rossori, ahimè.
Hanno però attenuato le zampe di gallina dovute al mio tipo di occhio, senza poterle fare sparire, ovvio...e hanno totalmente eliminato le linee da disidratazione.
Attenzione, però...L'effetto non è stato permanente, nè lo è. Le rughe non vanno via, e le lineette vanno via se idratate per bene; il giorno dopo avevo di nuovo tutto. Il punto è che come rimedio temporaneo sono patch validissime per il prezzo, ma ovviamente non sono miracoli in tessuto.
Consiglio a chi ha una pelle più matura di dargli uno sguardo, e magari provare ad utilizzarle un giorno sì ed uno no (non bisogna mai strafare)...credo che i risultati potrebbero essere davvero positivi.

To sum up: I like how lightweight is the gel, I like that it absorbs quickly. I wish they could cover a little bit more the sides of the eyes, but the fitting is okay.
Benefits wise I think that they did a good job with moisturizing, nourish and plump the skin. They don't have any whitening effect and eyebags or dark circles won't disappear. Also, nothing happened with my redness (I know the picture is made in different lights, so you can't really tell)
They do reduce my wrinkles ever so slightly, but they gave me more results with dry fine lines...they disappeared. 
Attention though, just saying but the effect isn't permanent, just in case you hoped it was so. Wrinkles have to be treated everyday with perseverance, The point is that these patches have a good price point, but they're not a miracolous item! You need to use them constantly to see big improvements.  They could be used as a temporary remedy for a special occasion, but I sincerely suggest you to buy more of them and use them every 1 or two days, so you can have better results. I also want to suggest this product to more mature skin, instead of youngsters.
