Pure Heal's Propolis 90 Ampoule | Review

Pure Heal's Propolis Ampoule has been a best seller item that many have raved about for healing acne prone skin. I had the chance to try the cream too (you can read about it here;  Sorry for the pics and grammar...I was at my beginnings xD), which has less concentration of propolis but has a heavenly texture. That cream is everything I'm looking for in a cream if we talk about texture...sadly, I found out that I'm allergic to honey! At least, honey/propolis is what makes my skin break out, because it was the main ingredient in all the products that have made me breaking out so far...But I will talk about this and more in this post...

La recensione di oggi riguarda la propolis 90 ampoule di Pure Heal's, brand che ha questa linea a base di propoli di cui già ho recensito la crema qui (un sacco di tempo fa, quindi scuserete la grezzaggine dello stile e delle foto ), che ha una concentrazione minore di propoli ed è appunto in forma di crema. La texture e l'applicazione di quella crema erano seriamente paradisiaci, peccato che mi irritasse il viso. Pensavo fosse perchè era troppo nutriente, invece ho scoperto che la mia pelle non tollera il miele / la propoli perchè ogni volta che ho usato prodotti con questo genere di ingredienti mi sono riempita di brufoli...Ma ne parlerò meglio in seguito.


So, you know that propolis is a mixture of natural materials made by bees, and it's used to protect the skin from irritants and repair damaged skin. You also know that ampoules are just like serum, a skincare item that has more conentrated ingredients and it absorbs quickly. Imagine now this ampoule made for the 90% of Propolis extrat! It should be heaven in a bottle, right?
Another ingredient in it is Alginic Acid, taken from algae, that should help skin to keep its balance.  Another thing it must be said about this product is that It's paraben free, just like the cream, that have been replaced with Illicium Verum fruit extract. Credo che tutti sappiano che la propoli è una mistura di materiali naturali prodotta dalle api, ed è usata in medicina e nei prodotti di skicare per proteggere la pelle da potenziali irritanti e appunto riparare laddove è danneggiata. Se leggete il blog sapete anche che le ampoules sono quasi come i sieri, e sono un prodotto caratterizzato da facile assorbibilità e ingredienti concentrati. Immaginate ora queste due cose combinate in un prodotto: una ampoule che contiene per il 90% estratto di propoli. Dovrebbe essere la panacea di tutti i mali, no? Un altro ingrediente principale è l'Acido Alginico, preso dalle alghe, che dovrebbe aiutare la pelle a mantenere idratazione. Un'altra cosa da ricordare è che i prodotti Pure Heal's sono liberi da parabeni e cruelty free; così come per la crema, i parabeni sono stati rimpiazzati dall' estratto di Illicium Verum. The bottle is made in thick yellow glass, with a black soft dropper and it contains 30 ml of product. The dropper really convenient, it's made to pull up the thick liquid as easily as possible. Be sure to close the cap really well, otherwise the tip of the bottle will start to be sticky. The product itself has a thick texture and it really looks like honey. Even the colour is transparent yellow like honey (obviously it's colourless on the face).

La bottiglia è fatta di vetro giallo, molto spesso, ed ha un dosatore a contagocce di morbida plastica nera; contiene 30 ml di prodotto. Il contagocce è molto utile perchè malleabile e tira su' molto prodotto, considerando quanto viscoso è il liquido rispetto ad altre ampoules che ho provato (holika holika / C20 / it's skin... tutte liquidine!).  Dovete essere sicuri di chiudere bene il tappo, perchè a contatto con l'aria il liquido diventa viscoso e appiccicoso lungo l'apertura. Il prodotto in sè è un liquido trasparente con una strana sfumatura giallognola che risulta essere spesso, corposo, per niente "troppo liquido".

It's a little bit thicker than other ampoules I've tried, but it spreads well on the face. It's not refreshing and it also have a light honey smell. It's a little bit sticky and it doesn't absorbs as quick as I'd like, but I could've expected it since it's mostly made by propolis extarct... Shouldn't this make her look more like honey? I don't know...
Now...let me give you my objective opinion about this ampoule; beside my breakouts, that were slightly more than the ones caused by the cream, the rest of the skin was really elastic, bright, luminous...good looking. You know when you have a radiant face and your complexion looks good (besides the bumps I had, of course)? I think this ampoule really improves elasticity and overall look of the skin, giving nutrition and brightening the conplexion. onto the not-so-funny part...I couldn't really see its calming and antibacterial effects, cause...it made me breakout! It was seriously the typical irritation with little bumps where the skin is more thin...On the nose, on the side of my cheeks, on the side of my chin...And they didn't stop until I dismissed this ampoule (which is sadly unfinished, and i'm letting my roommate finish it.).

Come ho già detto, è un po' più corposa di altre ampoules che ho provato, ma si stende bene sul viso. Non è rinfrescante, ed ha un leggero odore di miele. e' un po' appiccicosa e non si assorbe così velocemente, ma potevo aspettarmelo siccome l'ngrediente principale è la propolis..Non dovrebbe renerla simile al miele? Non so,credo?
Ora, lasciate che io vi dia un'opinione oggettiva senza contare il fatto che sono allergica a questa mistura diabolica. A parte i miei sfoghi, che erano molti di più di quelli causati dalla crema, la pelle al di sotto era molto elastica, luminosa...Sembrava molto bella. Insomma, la pelle era radiosa, a parte ovviamente dove avevo le bollicine...Per questo la crema, nel complesso, mi era piaciuta, e nonostante questa ampoule mi abbia irritato la pelle, potrebbe non irritarla a voi.  Per quanto riguarda le proprietà calmanti o antibatteriche...non ne ho vista nessuna, visto e considerato che mi ha fatto l'effetto opposto. Sono sicura ormai di essere allergica, visto che mi sono usciti puntini rossi e brufoletti nelle tipiche zone dove la mia pelle è più sensibile, e non è successo solo con questa linea, ma anche con l'ampoule alla propolis di It's Skin (che non ho intenzione di terminare.).

When I used the cream I had a smiliar but less extended reaction, that I thought it was caused by the extreamely nutritive effects of it...It can easily happen, when you have sensitive skin. Both the two creams principal ingredient was propolis. Still, I didn't think it was this ingredient to cause me breakouts, it could simply be the whole Pure Heal's skincare line, even if I could skee that my skin was feeling good, beside the little red dots and bumps on my face. But recently I had to try the it's skin power 10 propolis ampoule, and that break me out like crazy...I dismissed it after a week because my skin was seriously getting worse, and I'm still recovering from my breakout almost two weeks later. Ah, damn...I love honey, but I can't seriously put it on my face, which is sad cause i was trying to prepare a review on the I'm From Honey mask, a bestseller item on wishtrend. I'll give it a try anyway.

Quando ho la versione in crema ho avuto una reazione simile, ma meno estesa, che pensavo fosse causata dal fatto che fosse troppo nutriente; succede, se si ha la pelle sensibile. L' ingrediente in comune per entrambe le creme era la propoli, che è anche l'ingrediente principale. Non ho subito pensato ad una intolleranza o qualccosa del genere perchè essendo due prodotti della stessa linea, poteva essere qualsiasi altra cosa a scatenarla; quando poi ho usato un'altra ampoule di un altra marca, ma con lo stesso ingrediente principale, mi sono dovuta arrendere all'evidenza. Non farò una storia troppo lunga, ma ho lasciato perdere la ampoule It's skin e adesso la mia pelle sta recuperando.

So...here it is my story, and I hope you don't get mad if I couldn't give you a really in depth review. I think that this ampoule is good, even if I would never suggest this product to dry skins cause seriously...this Propolis line from Pure heal's has no moisturizing effect at all. I found out that honey/propolis aren't my soup...so I hope we all learnt something cool today :')

Quindi...questa è la mia storia; spero non vi dispiaccia non avere una recensione approfonditissima. Penso che questa ampoule non sia male, anche se per nulla adatta a pelli disidratate come dice di essere, in tutti i prodotti della linea che ho provato, non ho visto nessun effetto idratante. Io ho capito che le cose a base di propolis non sono roba per me...Tremo al fatto che ho varie cose alla propolis da recensire, ancora. Whohoo! Spero però che, come sempre, questo sproloquio vi sia stato utile :')
