Clio Professional Kill Black Brush Liner

Finalmente posso dedicarmi alla review di un prodotto fantastico che uso da un bel po'...ovvero questo meraviglioso eyeliner di Clio Professional.
Sapete che io amo tutti i prodotti Clio Professional che posseggo, e mi è difficile scegliere un preferito...Credo che il rapporto qualità/prezzo di questo brand sia davvero giusto, e che molti dei suoi prodotti siano paragonabili a brand come MAC.
p.s. per le italiane...la marca non è Clio Makeup ma CLIO PROFESSIONAL o CLUB CLIO ;)

Finally I can properly review this awesome product; I bought it long time ago for the first time,both in the brush  liner and pen liner version. You know that I love Club clio's products, and this eyeliner is no exception, also because the quality is really worth the price,.



Prendiamoci due secondi per parlare della ex-testimonial di Clio Professional...Lee Hyori. Non è fighissima? *fangirl.*. Adesso è stata sostituita da Dara...ma meh. Comunque, grazie a Dio, questo eyeliner è stato  messo sul mercato quando Hyori era la testimonial e, sia il nome ( "kill black") che il video promozionale, vi danno un'idea della figaggine di questo prodotto.
Questo eyeliner è bestseller da vari anni in Corea,  in quanto estremamente longlasting, estremamente nero ed estremamente semplice da applicare. Ha due varianti: la versione "brush" e la versione "pen". Io posseggo entrambi, in nero ovviamente, ma oggi mi soffermerò sulla versione  con la punta a pennellino. Sono disponibili due colorazioni: nero e marrone. Non confondeteli con i Twisturn Liner, questi sono una linea a parte.

Let's take two seconds to admire the former testimonial of the brand, Lee Hyori. Ah! I love her, what can I do??  Luckily this product was launched when she still was testimonial (before Sandara Park) so we have the CF with her in it( here!) and i'm happy because--I don't really like Dara as testimonial.
Anyway, this eyeliner is a bestseller in Korea, and it has been for so long partly because Hyori was the testimonial, partly because this product is really really awesome. There are two types of this kill black liner, one with a brush tip and the other with the pen tip. It comes in two colors, black and brown. They are different from the Twistturn liner, because they don't have to be twisted.

Packaging sottile, elegante, completamente nero...non è l'aspetto su cui mi voglio soffermare, ma la praticità. Ha una chiusura a pressione e scatto. Non basta premere, ma bisogna far scattare la molla  del tappo per chiuderlo completamente...così resterà liquido a lungo.

Somiglia molto al tattoo liner di Kat Von D, e il concetto di base è lo stesso: avere un eyeliner che abbia quasi le qualità di un tatuaggio.
In questo caso la punta è estremamente flessibile e sottile e ricorda un pennello da calligrafia, ma ovviamente sono disponibili altre versioni dell'eyeliner tra cui quello con la punta a penna e quello con la punta da 1.5 mm. Io preferisco questo stile pennello, proprio perchè mi ricorda i pennelli che uso per l'eyeliner in gel.

The packaging is tiny, slim and really elegant, but it's not the most important thing. It's really practical: it has a pressure closing that works only when you twist while pushing down the cap; when you hear the "click" noise, it's closed.  It looks like the Tattoo Ink liner by Kat Von D, mostly because of the flexible bursh-like tip, but also because its trait is like real ink.
The tip is really really flexible, but it's also thin, looking like a calligraphy brush. There's also a 1,5 mm pen liner that it's a new release, but I think that this is already thin enought to make you switch between a natural line and a thick dramatic wing.

Il colore è un nero abbastanza scuro, ma non il nero più nero che abbiate mai visto. E' però abbastanza scuro da risaltare su un ombretto scuro. E' molto liquido, quindi scivola benissimo sull'occhio e non diventa meno scuro o preciso a contatto con le polveri degli ombretti. Spesso con gli eyeliner in penna succede che un occhio esce fuori preciso, con la linea scura e ben fatta, mentre l'altro no, perchè o l'applicatore si è sporcato, o perchè il prodotto non fluisce...Questa cosa mi è sempre successa, anche con le penne per sopracciglia. Questo eyeliner invece resta sempre scuro allo stesso modo e si applica uniformemente e con facilità. La punta sottile permette di fare una puntina anche molto sottile.

The color payoff is really good, cause the eyeliner comes out really black, not shiny nor matte. It's not the blackest back you'd ever find, but it shows on every black shadow I use. It's very liquid, and it glides on smoothly on the eyes. Sometimes when we use pen liners it happens that one eye comes out darker, the line is defined and black, while the other doesn't, mostly because of the dust of the shadows or because it has been used on the other eyes. This doesn't happen with this eyeliner, that gives a black, bright and precise trait on both the applications. The tip of the liner is also very thin and its shape helpS to draw a perfectly precise wing.

L'applicazione risulta molto facile, e il modo migliore è quello di posizionare la punta a 45° e fare la propri linea. Non bisogna premere troppo, altrimenti il pigmento non si fissa bene e lascia chiazze. Un'altra cosa che ho notato è che, una volta fissato, è difficile riuscire amodificare la forma dell'eyeliner. Se si fa una passata sopra si rischia di portare via il pigmento già fissato, o comunque si rischia di ottenere una linea non precisa. Una volta fissato, infatti, il prodotto non viene via perchè è come appiccicato alla pelle.Siate veloci a sistemari gli errori o fare una linea più precisa!

It's really easy to apply; you position the tip in a 45° angle and slowly draw the line, this is the normal and best way to apply it. You don't even need to put too much strength in it, otherwise the pigment won't go out and set on the lid...and that means leaving bare or just grayish spots. Empty spaces aren't the best, right? So be sure to fill your line as fast as you can, because when this eyeliner is set, it won't go away. If you try to draw on the already set product, you risk to swipe it away or to ruin the line, because the pigment sticks to your lid and it's waterproof and longlasting...so you're gonna have hard time if you're not quick to fix your mistakes.

Credo di aver anticipato che è un prodotto estremamente longlasting. L'eyeliner è uno di quei prodotti che non tollero che sbiadisca o si sgretoli, perchè è uno dei prodotti immancabili nella mia routine e (forse per il mio complesso degli occhi a palla) non riesco ad uscire senza... Questo ha il pregio di durarmi eoni addosso pur rimanendo invariato. Un'altra cosa che mi piace e che si strucca facilmente, anche con l'acqua micellare, e non mi brucia gli occhi quando lo tolgo come fanno invece altri eyeliner (tipo quello Lavera, o quello Urban Decay.). l'unica precisazione che voglio fare è che, siccome è molto tenace, è meglio non strofinare lo struccante sull'occhio, quanto premere l'ovatta imbevuto di struccante e massaggiare piano.

I think I've already said that this product is extremely longlasting. Eyeliner is a really important step for me, and one of the most important products in my routine. I always wear eyeliner because I have rounded eyes and I use it to elongate them...This means that I need my eyeliner to last, and this one does the job. Another thing I like is that it's easy to take off with micellar water even if it's waterproof. Some eyeliners I tried burn my eyes, even when I take them off, but this one doesn't. The only thing is that if you want to take it off with mild makeup removers such as micellar water (and not with cleansing oils), press it and massage gently, because it's  more effective since it's waterproof.

In sostanza, adoro questo eyeliner, è l'ennesimo prodotto Clio che mi soddisfa. Sono felice di dire che non delude le aspettative. E' semplice da usare, molto più semplice di un eyeliner a penna. E' scuro, perfetto per tutti i giorni, ma è perfetto per lavori grafici ma che non hanno bisogno di eyeliner sfumati. Non si muove ed è longlasting e waterproof, purchè lo si sappia applicare. Sto notando che è ormai più di un mese e mezzo che l'ho aperto, eppure non si è nè seccato nè è finito, nonostante lo usi quasi giornalmente.
Ovviamente è pienamente promosso, e verrà assolutamente ricomprato.

I adore this eyeliner, it's another Clio Product that I adore. I'm happy to say that this product does what it claims. It's easy to use, even easier that a normal pen eyeliner. It's dark, perfect for everyday use, but also for more graphic works, if you don't need to smudge it...since it's smudgeproof. It doesn't move, it's longlasting and waterproof but you need to be quick to apply it because when it dries it won't come off. I've used it for months, and it still isn't dried or finished.
Obviously i'm going to repurchase it.
