Questo significa che aggiornerò il blog meno frequentemente, anche se ho comunque preparato degli articoli in anticipo, quindi non dovreste nè voi soffire la mia assenza (la soffrite, almeno un po'? :( ), nè il blog dovrebbe finire in malora. Comunque, come avrete notato, oggi si parla di un altro prodotto Zymogen!

This means that I will update the blog less frequently, even if I have prepared some wntries for you beforehead, so you won't be left alone and I won't be less active than usual. Now, as you noticed, this time I will review another Zymogen product!
Come ho già detto qui, la linea all'Hottunya Cordata di Zymogen ha ricevuto un sacco di attenzioni per via dei loro prodotti, perchè sembra essere perfetta e super efficace nel ridurre l'acne. Questa lozione dovrebbe essere formulata per tutti i tipi di pelle, però. E' formulata per controllare l'attività dei batteri che causano infezioni ed eliminare i brufoli grazie all'estratto di Hottunya Cordata. Il Quaercetin è un ingrediente contenuto nell'estratto di Hottunya cordata, ed è la fonte principale dei benefici diquesto prodotto; espande i capillari, purificando il sangue e, per questo, elimina tutte le tossine, calmando le irritazioni cutanee. Per riassumere, Zymogen dice che questa lozione è detossinante, anti-acne, ed ha proprietà antibatteriche.
Alcuni degli ingredienti principali (e che preferisco) si trovano proprio in questa lozione, e servoo a combattere l'acne: Hottunya Cordata, Centella Asiatica, Tea Tree e Acido Salicilico. Essendo prodotti a base di queste cose estremamente efficienti nel combattere i miei sfoghi in passato, avevo grandi aspettative per questa lozione.
As I mentioned here, the Hottunya Cordata line from Zymogen has a lot of hype around their products, because it seems to be perfect to reduce acne and troubles. This lotion is supposed to be for all skin types. It's meant to control bacterias, and clears the skin troubles thanks to the Hottunya Cordata extract. Quercertin, a special ingredient contained in the hottunya cordata extract, is the main source of benefits of this products: it works expanding capillaries, purifying blood and because of this, it elimates toxines in the blood, soothing skin troubles. To sum up, this lotion is meant to detoxify the skin, to clear skin troubles and to have antibacterial properties.
Some of the good igredients (that I like to see in this lotion) are Hottunya Cordata, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Centella Asiatica and Tea Tree; all of them have been super effective in reducing my pimples in the past, so I had great expectations for this product!
Questa è una lozione, il che significa che non è un liquido acquoso come le essence, ma nemmeno pesante come una crema...Se voleste seguire gli steps della skincare routine, andrebbe dopo la essence e prima della crema. La lozione è leggermente giallina ed è densa tipo i gel, ma non direi che è leggera allo stesso modo, è comunque molto concentrata. Si stende facilmente, e si assorbe altrettanto facilmente, ma ha davvero un odore che non mi piace, tipo erba/medicina. Una volta applicata, la lozione non risulta essere grassa sulla pelle, ma e' davvero molto molto appiccicosa, e un po' rinfrescante; mentre l'appiccicosità persiste per molti minuti, la sensazione rinfrescante è temporanea. Dopo qualche minuto la lozione non è più appiccicosa, ma si asciuga con un finish matte.
This is a lotion, that means that it's not a watery liquid like an essence, but not even thick like a cream...In the skincare routine it goes before the cream, basically. The lotion is a yellowy and dense gel, I wouldn't say it's lightweight, because it's really dense and conentrated. It spreads easily and gets absorbed really easily as well, but it has a really strong herbal scent as you spread it on the face. Once applied, the lotion is not shiny, but it's super sticky and slightly refreshing; while the stickiness persists for some minutes, the fresh feeling lasts only during the application. As some minute pass, the lotion is not sticky anymore, but it almost dries into a powdery finish.
Quando l'ho comprata pensavo fosse per tutti i tipi di pelle, siccome tutti ne parlavano bene. Alla fine, come sempre, me la sono presa nella ciapèt perchè è principalmente per pelli grasse. Non sono sorpresa, principalmente perchè in Corea c'è sempre questo stereotipo di associare l'acne alla pelle grassa, come se chi avesse pelle secca non potesse soffrirne. La maggioranza dei coreani ha comunque pelle tendente al misto/grasso, quindi non mi stupisco di ciò e mi rassegno al fatto che stia diventando davvero difficile trovare una nuova crema/lozione adatta a me, che contenga ingredienti che curino l'acne e niente miele. Ovviamente non è un prodotto abbastanza idratante. Dona una leggerissima idratazione, ma la mia pelle è così assetata che davvero ha bisogno di MOLTO di più. Una cosa che mi piace è l'effetto calmante immediato, cosa che ha in comune con la mist. Se sentite la pelle tirare o sentite che ci sono brufoli che stanno per uscire, o ancora, sentite una irrefrenabile voglia di toccarvi i brfoli e grattarvi...Allora questa lozione vi aiuterà molto, perchè calma immediatamente la pelle, senza che ci sia un fastidio persistente che vi faccia grattare.
Il punto è che: mentre la mist può essere usata in ogni momento, sopra il trucco oppure no e così via, la lozione no. Cioè, dovete avere la faccina pulita per mettervela e, se siete fuori casa, non ve la potete rimettere a vostro piacimento perchè...non è esattamente comodo, no?.
A parte questa cosa positiva, c'è da dire che io l'ho provata per un mese, e, a parte questo effetto, non ho notato null'altro. Non ha diminuito in maniera significativa il numero di brufoli, nè ha fatto cose particolari per la pelle: Anzi! E' troppo poco idratante, e io non ho tempo da dedicare a prodotti che non sono adatti a me, lo sconsiglio tantissimo alle pelli secche. Non è pratica da portare in giro ecc, quindi se cercate effetto calmante e basta, buttatevi sulla mist; se cercate una lozione calmante, seboregolatrice e "disinfettante" (dovrebbe diminuire i brufoli) allora vi suggerirei di provarla. Soprattutto se avete pelle grassa, In questo caso credo che l'amereste.
I thought this product was more for all skin types, since everyone raved about it. At the end, as usually, I got bummed because it's mainly for oily skins. I'm not surprised of this, because many of the acne products in the korean market are for oily skins, mainly because there is this stereotype that only oily skins get the more breakouts; but also, the majority of asian skins is oily. Again, It feels like I'm really struggling to find a multifunctional product for dry and acne prone skins, that has no beeswax/honey in it. Obviously it's not moisturizing enough. It gives some moisture, but my skin is too thirsty and needs MORE than this. One thing I like is the immediate soothing effect that this lotion has in common with the mist. If you have itchy skin, or feel the need to touch your pimples, or to rub your face, this lotion will soothe your skin and you won't feel these needs anymore. Downside is that you can apply it over and over again only if you're at home with your bare face, because otherwise.....how could you?
Even though I've used it for a month and a half, I haven't noticed any improvement in my acne, and I really don't have time to dedicate to a product that isn't working for me, and it's not moisturizing enough. Really not suggested for dry skins!
I still think that it's not really practical to carry a lotion like that outside the house (it's 105 ml!), so I still prefer the mist for soothing the skin because I can use it at home, outside, on my make up or bare face. I wouldn't suggest you to buy a lotion like this if you look for something that must only soothe the skin. Even if it didn't work for me, I'm sure this lotion will be perfect for oily skins.
