Ci sono sempre state un sacco di maschere che non ho provato e che mi hanno sempre incuriosito, l'Annie's Way Aloe Anti-Acne Jelly Mask è stata una di queste. Onestamente, mi  piaceva il concetto di una maschera di consistenza gelatinosa che si asciuga sulla pelle. Anche se si può trovare questa maschera in versione monodose, la maschera in versione originale è in barattolo. Trovo che il monodose sia migliore, ovviamente, perché mi piace provare cose nuove e non mi piace usare sempre una sola maschera. Inoltre la monodose / single mask può essere utilizzata due volte se preferite mettervene un bello strato spesso o tre volte con uno strato leggermente più sottile, bastandovi così per 2/3 utilizzi  . La confezione della versione monodose che ho ricevuto da Mooni Mask è adorabile, e naturalmente la ragazza disegnata sopra mi ricorda l'Hermione di Harry Potter, anche se i due "marchi" non sono collegati tra loro. Il cartonato è davvero carino, perché quando lo si apre c'è un messaggio che rende questa maschera perfetta anche per fare un regalo! Ma.... parliamo della maschera e di come ha funzionato sulla mia pelle.

Even if you can find this mask in a covenient small size, the original mask comes in a jar. I find the monodose one better, of course, because I like to try new things and I don't like to stick to only one mask. Moreover, the monodose/single mask can be used two times if you use a tick layer, or three times with a slightly thinner one.
The packaging of the small size mask I have is adorable, and of course the girl on top remindsme of Herry Potter's Hermione, even if the two "brands" are not related to each other. The cardboard is really cute, because when you open it there is a sweet message that makes this mask perfect for a cute gift! But let's talk about the mask and how it worked.

Si Usa una spatola per stenderlo sul viso, quindi, dopo 30 minuti, si deve raschiare il gel dai punti in cui non si è asciugato e lavarsi il ​​viso. Certo, tutti i tipi di pelle potrebbero usarla, ma trovo davvero difficile pensare che una maschera per pelle grassa, che ha fra i benefici quello di controllare il sebo in eccesso, sia adatta anche per la pelle bruciata dal sole e per la pelle sensibile. La presenza di aloe non la rende automaticamente buono per le pelli sensibili. Mi sono piaciute molto le proprietà lenitive e il fatto che fosse davvero rinfrescante sulla pelle. Aiuta davvero a lenire i rossori e, allo stesso tempo, calma la pelle irritata. Non era idratante; infatti penso che abbia lasciato la pelle un po 'troppo secca. Non ho lamentele importanti e penso che sia una bella maschera, ma non adatta al mio tipo di pelle. Lo raccomanderei alle pelli grasse che tendono ad essere sensibili.

As I mentioned, the mask is in gelly form, and it wiggles in a really fun way. You use a spatula to put it on and then, after 30 minutes, you have to scrape the gel out of the places where it didn't dry up and wash your face. It's kinda fun, and it feels refreshing and soothing on the skin. Also, where you put a thin layer or you leave it for a lot of times, it might dry up completely...but it will return soft once you start to wash it away.

The Aloe Anti-Acne mask may seem targeted for acne skin, but as usual, like many asian products that have "acne" printed on it, it's more targeted for oily skins. Sure, All skin types may use it, but I find really hard to think that a mask for oily skin, meant to purify oil, is also suited for sunburned skin and sensitive skin. The presence of aloe doesn't make it authomatically good for sensitive skin.
I really liked the soothing properties and the fact  that it was really refreshing on the skin. It really helps soothing redness and, at the same time, it calms irritated skin. It wasn't moisturizing; in fact I think it left my skin a bit too dry. I don't have major complaints, and I think it's a nice mask, but not suited to my skin type. I would recommend it to oily skins that tend to be sensitive.
