Despite the curiosity, I bought their most famous masks to see how it would react to my skin and to give me an idea of how Cremorlab was. I bought The whitening mask (white) from Yukoskin , while the mask for acne (pink) on Honeysu.
These two masks are made of Tencel, a cellulose fabric that holds liquids and leaves the beneficial ingredients penetrate into the skin. Not all Cremorlab's sheet masks are made of Tencel, but in this category there are the two types of masks....the ones I will be talking about today, plus the Marine Hyaluronic Revital Mask and Witch Hazel Gel Pore Control Mask.
White Bloom Triple Bright Floral Mask -Whitening
The White Bloom Triple Bright Floral Mask is an illuminating mask that is part of the "Triple Bright" line. What the mask is about to do is moisturize, revitalize and increase the elasticity of the skin ... all while leaving a beautifully bright complexion.
The Giglio extract, mixed with thermal water, is the brightening ingredient. The mask "whitens" and slightly exfoliates the face thanks to the Fruit Complex (orange, grapes and wild cherry), as it has natural AHA and BHA. As soo as I put it on, I immediately felt how the mask burned on my pimples, which often happens with these types of masks, (and sometimes with other types of masks too ...) My point is that even people with pimples would like to take masks every now and then, but the instructions of sheet masks say that they should not be put on irritations, wounds etc...and it's unfair, because we want masks for our acne skin too è_è . There are masks, such as those of Klairs or Merbliss, or Herboflore, which are good for acne prone skins, btw. Anyway, the main goal of those who buy this mask is to have beautiful bright skin; Well, the mask cleans and brightens the skin clearly, but it does not help with redness. If you have discoloration / dark spots, they will be relieved temporarily. The other great pro is that it really moisturises the skin. The fact that it's moisturizing, but still irritating to my skin (dry and sensitive) makes this a good mask, but not one of my favourite.
Herb Tea Pure Calming Mask - Blemishes
Even though this mask contains fragrance, it's super gentle on the skin. As soon as I wore it, I didn't feel the usual fresh feeling, but it was somehow soothing anyway. The soft fabric is drenched in essence, and it was super soft and comfortable; I didn't feel any burning or tingling sensation. I kept the mask on for thirty minutes, because it was somehow relaxing. I noticed that my swelling pimples weren't as inflammated as before, and that this mask helped ever so slightly with reddish areas around my blemishes. My skin was left soft, deeply moisturized and brightened. It wasn't brightening like the Triple Bright mask, but it gave me a healthy glow. My blemishes were healed the morning after (not COMPLETELY, this mask isn't magic) and I think this mask helped a lot to calm the skin, so my skin looked and felt better. I would recommend this to fellow sensitive and dry skins.
