In questo post vi avevo fatto vedere alcuni acquisti, tra cui proprio questa Cleansing Water, che al tempo era una nuova aggiunta di Etude House alla linea per lo struccaggio "Real Art". Questa sorta di acqua micellare è uno dei numerosi tentativi (leggesi Fails, basta vedere l'acqua micellare TonyMoly) di cercare una Cleansing water valida fra quelle coreane, ma temo che presto smetterò proprio di tentare...
In this post I showed you all the things I bought, and this cleansing water from Etude House was one of them. It was a new release long time ago, but I guess it's not anymore, lol. It's basically one of my many attempts to find a new micellar water in the korean market ( you can see it as one of my many fails, as I also said in my TonyMoly Bamboo cleansing water review.); I think that soon I' will simply give up!
Comunque, questa "acqua struccante", come ho già detto, fa parte della linea Real Art, dedicata proprio allo struccaggio. Praticamente avremo poco da dire su questa cleansing water, perchè non ho molto da dire. Prima di tutto, le foto che vedete sono di una bottiglia semi vuota perchè le foto che avevo già fatto sono andate perse col vecchio pc. Detto questo, l'acqua è in formato compatto da 300 ml, in una bottiglia molto resistente in plastica leggera, che però si sporca davvero molto facilmente. Il liquido è leggero, fresco, ma molto molto profumato.
Anyway this "cleansing water", as I said, is part of the Real Art line, which main focus is "cleansing the skin". Basically we're gonna say very few things about this cleansing water, becaaaause... I don't really have a lot to say about it! In the pictures the bottle is almost empty because the pictures with the full bottle I made when I first got it got lost with my computer.
So, the bottle contains 300 ml of product, and it's made in plastic. It's really sturdy. The liquid is basically a thin water, fresh, but with a very strong scent.
Rispetto all'acqua micellare di Tonymoly devo dire che non è così tanto profumata, non irrita la pelle (del viso) e soprattutto è più delicata. Il potere struccante è molto, molto migliore, ed è anche leggermente idratante. La Sensibio di Bioderma e L'acqua micellare garnier non sono così leggere ed idratanti, ma il potere struccante è maggiore, soprattutto quando parliamo di trucco waterproof. La Sensibio è davvero la migliore in fatto di pelli sensibili, ma onestamente per il prezzo non ci siamo-- La Garnier è comunque molto delicata. Entrambe queste alternative occidentali sono meglio dell'acqua micellare Etude. Malgrado la texture molto leggera, comunque è leggermente irritante nella zona perioculare per via del profumo contenuto. Ho anche riscontrato secchezza dell'occhio e bruciore all'interno, soprattutto quando ne usavo abbastanza per struccare il trucco occhi.
Compared to the TonyMoly Cleansing water, I must say that it's less heavily scented, it doesn't irritate my skin and I think it's mild. The cleansing power is reaaaally better, and it's also slightly moisturizing. The Sensibio from Bioderma and the Micellar Water from Garnier aren't so moisturizing, yet lightweight, but their cleansing power is higher. Obviously they are better than this cleansing water when we talk about waterproof makeup. I must say that the Sensibio is better for sensitive skins, but the Garnier one is also mild. Both of them are better than the Etude House Cleansing Water. Even though it's really lightweight, because of the fragrance i it, I noticed that it tends to irritate the area around my eyes, making it red. I sometimes felt my eyes getting dry, mostly inside, whenever I had to took off heavy makeup and I had to use a lot of product.
L'ho usata assiduamente, ma ad un certo punto ho proprio cercato di finirla usandola per struccare swatches e piccoli ritocchi. Comunque, mi sono arresta nell'usarla da sola, perchè ci vogliono qualcosa come tre passate (6 dischetti) per struccarmi del tutto... Uso l'acqua micellare come ultimo step, per rifinire punti che ho magari dimenticato di pulire bene col double cleansing. E' un acquisto che non consiglio di fare, perchè ci sono acque micellari a molto di meno e che funzionano meglio.
I used it daily, but at some point I was just trying to end it, so I used it to take off swatches and to sharpen my eyeliner, just because. Anyway, I gave up on using JUST this, because it takes too much product (and almost 6 cotton pads) to take off all my makeup...I use the cleansing water as last step, whenever I feel the need to. It's a purchase that I don't suggest to do, because we have really good and way cheaper alternatives in the western market.
