Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Body Oil | Review

Avevo già anticipato su instagram che ci sarebbero state presto le review dei prodotti della linea Egg Mousse di Too Cool For School - se non mi seguite su instagram, sappiate che vi perdete importantissime cose, eh! Scherzo, ovviamente.

Hello! I already anticipated that I was going to review the Egg Mousse line from Too Cool For School on instagram: I think they deserve a single review, so here it is the first. Oh, and if you don't follow me on instagram, you're definitely losing important updates--just kidding :-)

Too Cool For School è un marchio giovane in tutti i sensi, sia perchè nato recentemente, sia perchè il suo design fresco e smaliziato lo rende giovanile e attraente. La TCFS non è famosissima, ma ha prodotti di alta qualità, come la maschera all'argilla, la linea di trucco e la linea Egg Mousse, che sono le più famose. Il marchio è molto attento al design e al packaging, basti pensare alla linea Dinoplatz, dove persino le confezioni di cartone sono troppo carine per essere buttate via...Ma non mi dilungo, in fondo google è vostro amico, e potete dare un'occhiata voi stessi. La linea Egg Mousse di TCFS è caratterizzata dal fatto che la texture di tutti i prodotti della stessa hanno la texture della panna montata, ovvero di una mousse a base di uovo. Perchè uova? Perchè la linea è focalizzata sul trattamento di pori dilatati e sul dare nutrimento alla pelle. Ho tre prodotti della linea e li amo follemente: l'Egg Mousse Pack, Egg Mousse Foam Cleanser e l'Egg Mousse Body Oil, che è quello di cui parliamo oggi.

Too Cool for School is a really young brand, it hasn't been on the market for too long, but it quickly gained a lot of fans mostly among teenagers because of its very cute and artistic packaging, and also because of the good quality of their products. TCFS isn't that famous yet, sadly, but there are some products that are known enough: the makeup line or the Egg Mousse Line. Think about the Dinoplatz line, how nice is it with all those drawings? Just google it and you'll see many cute things. 
The line I will talk about though is the Egg Mousse line. Why eggs? because they nourish the skin and help tightening pores. The line is all focused on eggs, and it has four products: the mask sheet, the Egg Mousse Pack,  the Egg Mousse Foam Cleanser and the Egg Mousse Body Oil. I have these last three, everything but the sheet mask.

Le confezioni di Too Cool For School di solito sono molto più complicate ed arzigogolate di queste, ma per questa linea si sono mantenuti sul semplice. Abbiamo una bottiglietta con tappo, e bisogna shakerarla prima di ogni uso per mescolare gli ingredienti all'interno, di modo che  esca fuori la schiuma. Quest'ultima è bianca, ricca, uniforme...sembra davvero glassa per cupcake. Ha un odore leggero, ma si sente comunque una nota che contraddistingue il fatto che sia un olio. All'apparenza, questo body oil fa una schiuma un po' meno gonfia e più liquidina del sapone e della maschera della stessa linea.

Too Cool For School usually has very elaborated packagings, but the Egg Mousse line packaging is very simple.  The Body oil comes in a simple white bottle with a plastic cap. You just have to shake the bottle before any use, and voilà...you're gonna have your mousse. The mousse is thick, white, eaven...It really looks like the icing of cupcakes. It has a light smell, but I can smell something that reminds me oils in general. This product makes a lesser thick and more liquid leather compared to the foam cleanser and the mask pack.

Ovviamente gli oli corpo possono piacere o non piacere, ma la nota negativa è sempre la stessa: spesso ungono e sono pesanti. Qui si vede uno dei lati positivi di questo prodotto: essendo in mousse non unge come un olio "liquido". Una volta spalmato e' comunque più untuoso di come potrebbe essere una mousse, ma si assorbe bene e molto molto in fretta. Riunisce quindi i pregi degli olii, in quanto è molto idratante, e i pregi della texture schiumosa: leggerezza e facile assorbibilità.
E' molto idratante, visto e considerato che da' sollievo alla mia pelle costantemente disidratata. Non scherzo, ho spesso la pelle quasi squamata, soprattutto dopo la doccia, e questo fantastico olio idrata subitissimo, rendendola liscia e morbida. Con più applicazioni si riesce a far fronte alle zone più aride. Non irrita, non occlude i pori... L'unica cosa negativa è che è davvero una bottiglietta piccola, ho sempre paura di finirla e cerco di usare quest'olio solo quando sono molto disidratata...di sicuro lo ricomprerò, però.

Obviously body oils aren't for everyone; a lot of people hate the thick and greasy feeling on the skin. 
One of the positive sides of it is that it's in a mousse form, so it's not oily or thick on the skin, it does get absorbed easily, very very fast. Once applied to the skin it's of course oilier than a normal mousse.
I can definitely say that it has the positive things of an oil (intense moisture ) and of a mousse (it spreads easily on the skin, it's lightweight and it absorbs easily.).
I think it's highly moisturizing, perfect for dry skins. I really have dry skin even on my body, to the point that my legs are flaky sometimes...And this product helps to reduce the flakyness and moisturize my skin from the very beginning. After regular use my skin is soft and smooth.
The real negative side of the product is the size...it's too small, 80 ml aren't exactly a good quantity in my opinion, so I'm always scared to finish this oil and I use it only when I really need it. I would repurchase it again and again.
