Oggi mi ritrovo a scrivere la review di una BB cream fra le più famose e più vendute di Etude House, la Cotton Mineral BB Cream nella versione Cotton Fit.
La Precious Mineral BB Cream di Etude House è una BB Cream in forma liquida, di cui esistevano due versioni. La "Cotton Fit", che è la mia, è quella versione matte, ovvero dal finish opaco e la "Bright Fit"che è illuminante. Sono molto recentemente state aggiunte la "Perfect Fit"e la Blooming Fit, e credo che la Perfect Fit presto la sostituirà (? non ho ancora ben capito i pieni della Etude a riguardo )
Il packaging della BB Cream Cotton fit è bianco, mentre l'altro della è rosa. E' molto igienico e pratico perchè è in un tubetto con pompetta. Contiene 40 ml di prodtto, che di solito è la quantità media in cui sono vendute le BB creams, ma è l'unica taglia in cui viene prodotta, al contrario di altre più famose (tipo quella Missha o skin79) che vengono prodotte anche in supersize o in travel size.
Onestamente, per me che sono piena di BB Cream 40 ml sono difficili da finire, anche perchè preferisco di gran lunga usare dei veri e propri fondotinta, ma è davvero conveniente avere 40ml per molto meno di 20 euro.

I find it hard to finish it because I'm always changing foundation or base products, but if you tend to stick to One product or you prefer bb creams for everyday, then you must know that you get a lot of product for a smal price.
Purtroppo le colorazioni Etude hanno tutte sottotono giallo; questa però non lo ha così marcato come il fondotinta skinfit di cui vi avevo parlato precedentemente, ma è pur sempre più evidente che nei cushion, che hanno un colore leggermente più chiaro ed aggiustabile. Il mio colore è, come sempre, l'N2, che è comunque un po' troppo scuretto e giallo (sono Nc10-15 da Mac).
Mi piace molto la consistenza di questa BB cream, perchè mi ricorda molto un fondotinta liquido... Difatti non è leggera come un cushion, ma non è spesso come un fondotinta.
Si stende con facilità poichè è davvero cremosa, caratteristica che vi permette di applicarla anche con le mani. Di solito io applico le bb cream con le mani, perchè scivolano più facilmente sul viso rispetto ai fondotinta, ma anche l'applicazione con pennello o con spugnetta non mi ha delusa. Come molte BB cream, però, la texture sembra oleosa, quindi se non è il vostro genere dovreste puntare più sulle nuove tipologie di bb cream o cc cream, più leggere.
Sadly, all the Etude House shades have a yellow undertone; this bb cream has a yellow tone too, but it's not yellow as the skinfit foundation, yet still more evident than the same brand cushions.
As usual, I wear the lightest shade (N2) that it's still too yellow and slightly dark for me; on the contrary cushions come off less darker than liquid products. I like the consistency of this bb cream, because it reminds me liquid foundations; it's not lightweight like a cushion, but it's not thick like a real foundation. It applies easly because it's creamy, and you can even apply it with your hands. Usually I like to apply my bb creams with hands because I feel like I can spread them better on my skin, but some bb cream give good results applied with brushes or sponges too. Just like many BB creams, though, the texture is really balmy, almost looking oily, so..if you like lightweight base products, this is not for you; try cc creams or cushions.
Una volta applicata la bb cream risulta dewy, bagnata e molto lucida, cosa che non mi aspettavo, visto che è in teoria un bb cream "mattificante". Dopo un tempo lunghissimo per i miei standard (qualcosa come cinque/sei minuti buoni ) si asciuga, ma l'effetto che lascia sulla pelle non è matte, oserei dire che è più un effetto satinato. La coprenza è davvero alta per essere una bb cream, anche se non è esattamente modulabile. Non va oltre la media coprenza e se si cerca di stratificarla l'effetto non è dei migliori, perchè la base diventa davvero pesante e pastosa, il trucco è davvero evidente e per niente naturale. Nonostante ciò, è abbastanza clemente con le pelli secche, ma ho notato che enfatizza le zone più secche. Non nasconde i pori, e a fine giornata noto che invece li ha enfatizzati, e si è infilata nelle pieghette della zona T.
Once applied, the finish is dewy, almost wet and shiny, something that I didn't expect since it's a mattifying bb cream. After a long time (compared to my standards), something like 5/6 minutes it sets, but yet the finish is not completely matte but more satin like. The coverage is really high for being a bb cream, even if I wouldn't say it's buildable. The more you put on, the more it will be hard to blend it with the skin, that will start to look cakey. A good bonus point is that it's good for dry skins because I haven't noticed any dry patches emphasized or dry lines at all, I guess because it's very creamy. It doesn't hides your pores and since it's not exactly long lasting, I noticed that they're really visible at the end of the day.
Non capisco come possa essere definito un prodotto "matte", visto che non lo è. Di certo non è adatto a pelli troppo oleose, nè tantomeno credo sia adatta alle pelli secche. Benchè sia relativamente longlasting (per essere una bb cream), è un prodotto che d'estate non dura poi così tanto. E' appiccicosa sul viso e ci vuole molta cipria per fissarla....ma davvero molta. In poche parole, non capisco com'è possibile che tutti adorino questa bb cream...cioè....HEH! Non finirò questa BB Cream (ne ho di migliori) e non la ricomprerò...Nice try, Etude House.

I really don't know how can this be defined a "matte" product, when it's not. Surely it won't really fit oily skins, but also for my dry skin...it wasn't that god. It's relatively long lasting (we have to consider that it's still a BB Cream) but there are better options in the market. It's too sticky for my likes and too thick to use during the summer. Let's not even talk about how much powders it takes to be fixed...and yet it still feels sticky. To sum up...I don't understand how can this be a bestseller (beside the low price and cuteness...I don't think it's worth the hype) and I don't think I will ever repurchase it. Nice try Etude House, but this is not for me..
