La verità è che questo è stato uno dei miei primi prodotti acquistati...E il motivo è che a Mariangela piaceva la confezione. L'altro motivo è che non ci sono molti toner specifici per uomini, mentre io volevo provare qualcosa che viene specificamente indicato come "per uomo". Fatto sta che questo toner della Skinfood mi ha attirato per il fatto che contenesse Tea tree e lavanda, di cui amo l'odore, e poi perchè mi fido del marchio.
The truth is that this is one of the best products I ever bought... actually I decided to buy it because Mariangela liked the packaging. The other reason was that there aren't so many toners only for men, but I really wanted to try something specifically labelled as "for men". Fact is that I was attracted by this Skinfood toner's contents which are tea tree and lavender, of which I love the scent, and also because I trust this brand.
La bottiglia è stile vintage, molto ricercata e sembra quella di un liquore. A me non piace particolarmente...e mi sento minacciato nello scrivere ciò perchè ad altre persone potrebbe piacere.
Cosa che non amo particolarmente è che è in vetro (quindi fragile) e il tappo di latta è l'unica cosa che impedisce al prodotto di fuoriuscire. Non ha infatti nessun coperchietto o tappino che separi il prodotto dal tappo vero e proprio. Un'altra cosa negativa è che il dosatore è troppo largo e tende a far fuoriuscire troppo prodotto. La quantità di prodotto è 140 ml.
The bottle is vintage styled, well refined, and looks like a liqueur one. Actually I don't like it so much...and I feel a little bit threatened writing this because I know other people may like it.
What I like the less is that it's made of glass (that is really fragile) and the metal top is the only thing which prevents the product to be wasted. The product quantity is 140 ml.
Il prodotto in sè è un liquido dalla consistenza acquosa, somiglia ai dopobarba liquidi. il fatto che sia così liquido ha dei pro e dei contro; uno dei pro è che si assorbe facilmente ed è facile applicarlo (sia con i dischetti di cotone che a mani nude ). Invece il contro è che spesso, siccome è liquido, bisogna essere veloci perchè il dischetto assorbe troppo il prodotto e si asciuga prima di essere riusciti ad applicarlo su tutto il viso. Per me però il fatto che sia un prodotto che si asciughi immediatamente è un qualcosa di positivo, perchè puoi subito passare alla lozione successiva, e per me che sono sempre di fretta va benissimo.
The product is liquid with a watery texture, it looks a little bit like liquid aftershaves. Being so liquid has obviously some pros and cons; one of the pros is that it absorbs easily and it's simple to apply (both using cotton pads and bare hands). One of the cons is that you often need to apply it quickly because it is really liquid and the cotton pads tend to absorb too much the product and it dries even before you can apply it over the whole face. Actually for me it is something positive that it tends to dry easily, because you'll quickly be able to go to the next lotion, andsince I'm always on rush it's just so good.
Ho usato questo toner tutti i giorni, sia la mattina che la sera, o se sono a casa dopo pranzo lo riapplico...quindi lo uso molto frequentemente. Preferisco applicarlo con le mani perchè col cotone dovrei usarne una quantità maggiore. Praticamente lo uso come se fosse un dopobarba.
Questo è perfetto per restringere i pori, che è, per me che soffro di pori dilatati, una cosa più che fantastica perchè noto tantissimo il cambiamento. I pori infatti si restringono proprio subito. Rende la pelle liscia, ma l'effetto principale è proprio quello di restringere i pori. Non ho avuto reazioni allergiche, e non ho notato miglioramenti o peggioramenti di acne o imperfezioni. Io ho la pelle mista, ma il toner nè idrata nè sgrassa.
Un'altra cosa che mi piace è il profumo che è molto molto forte e persistente, ha una nota puramente maschile e proprio per questo non lo suggerirei mai ad una donna.
Lo ricomprerai? Sì, anche se il packaging fa cagare, ci passerei su'.
I've been using this toner everyday, both in the morning and in the evening or, if I'm home after luch, I apply it again... So I use it very often. I prefer applying it using my hands because I would need a bigger quantity using cotton pads. Basically I use it like an aftershave.
It is just perfect to tighten pores, which is so fantastic for me since I suffer from enlarged pores and I must say I noticed the difference. In fact, the pores shrink so quickly. It makes my skin smooth, but the main effect as I already said is to tighten pores. I've never had any allergic reactions and I haven't noticed any acne or imperfection improvements or worsening. I have a combination skin but this toner doesn't moisturize or degrease.
Another thing I like very much is its fragrance which is really strong and persistent, it has truly a masculine scent and this is why I would never suggest it to a woman.
Am I willing to buy it again? Yes, even if I don't love the packaging.
