Etude House Skin Fit Foundation review

E' da secoli che ho questa review pronta in "bozze", e sinceramente non so perchè mi era passato dalla mente che avrei potuto pubblicarla...Ebbene, con mesi di ritardo, ecco la review dello Skin Fit Foundation della Etude house.

Caratteristiche/Characteristics:

-          4-5 hr of lasting power (with primer and without powder)

 The Skin Fit Foundation is made to fit the natural color of the skin, but it also has some whitening and anti-wrinkle effect. This isn’t the first time that I try an anti-wrinkle foundation, I also tried the Dior Sculpt Foundation that I didn’t like because it made me break out. Even so, I decided to try the Skinfit foundation because I’ve never noticed any breakout with Korean  anti-wrinkle product, and I was also curious because it was a relatively new product for in the Etude House range.

Lo SkinFit Foundation è un fondotinta che dovrebbe adeguarsi perfettamente al colore naturale della pelle, ma ha anche effetto antirughe e schiarente (anti-macchia/illuminante). Avevo già provato un fondotinta con effetto antirughe, Il Dior Sculpt, che non mi era piaciuto perché mi occludeva i pori e mi aveva irritato la pelle.  Ho deciso di prendere comunque lo SkinFit perché d solito tutti i prodotti coreani hanno proprietà antirughe e non mi hanno mai dato problemi.

PACKAGING

Il prodotto si presenta in un flacone molto essenziale, sottile e poco voluminoso rispetto ai classici fondotinta e quindi più facile da portare in viaggio.  La quantità di prodotto è di 30 ml (anche se non sembrerebbe visto quanto piccolo sembra il flacone. ).  Il fondo è di sottotono estremamente giallo, si nota immediatamente già applicato sulla mano. Una volta steso il sottotono giallo è comunque molto evidente,  non è per nulla adatto a chiunque abbia un sottotono neutro o rosa.

The packaging is really essential, sleek and it doesn’t take as much space as the standard foundations in commerce and that makes it easier to travel with. The product contains 30 ml of product (even if the bottle looks really small ). The foundation has a really evident yellow undertone, and because of that I don’t think it would suit neutral  or pink undertone. Once applied the yellowy tone is still evident.

COLOR/COLORAZIONE

Giallosità!

Nonostante io abbia un sottotono giallo, la colorazione giallastra era comunque evidente. Il tono resta comunque chiaro abbastanza per la mia pelle e lo stacco sul collo (che è più chiaro del mio viso) non era  niente di insopportabile, solo  si notava un po’ di più il colorito sul giallo, ma si può eliminare facilmente sfumandolo.  Una cosa positiva della componente gialla nel fondo è che contrastava perfettamente il rosso della mia couperose senza che avessi bisogno di un primer verde o del Lemon Aid di Benefit.

Although my yellow under tone, the yellowy color is really noticeable on my skin.  The color matches my skin, so the only thing that was noticeable on my neck, was the slightly yellowy tone of the foundation… but it’s easy to blend the product and hide everything. Since the foundation is really yellow, it covers perfectly any kind of redness; I didn’t need any green primer, nor my lemon aid by benefit to cover my rosacea.

APPLICATION/APPLICAZIONE

Applicato

La consistenza del prodotto è liquida ma non troppo, si può facilmente applicare direttamente sul viso, così come su un pennello. senza perdere prodotto perchè cola (sì, mi riferisco a te Face&Body di Mac è_è9 ). Si applica facilmente, ma a volte evidenzia i punti in cui la pelle è più secca, cosa a cui si può ovviare applicando un secondo strato di prodotto che lo rende meno evidente...strano ma vero. La coprenza con un solo strato è leggera, ma può si facilmente arrivare ad una media coprenza, che però non è efficace per coprire problemi evidenti. Sicuramente è un prodotto in parte idratante, perché una volta struccato la pelle non risulta secca, così come dopo l’applicazione la pelle sembra leggermente rimpolpata e l’applicazione è comunque confortevole. ( Ho una pelle molto secca e a volte alcuni fondotinta possono dare problemi  una volta applicati ).

The consistency of the product is liquidy enough but not runny, it can be easily pumped directly onto the face just as it can be applied on a flat top brush.  The foundation apples smoothly enough, but I noticed that sometimes  it clings on really dry spots and the results is patchy unless you don’t apply a little bit more on these spots to cover up and it become less noticeable.

The product is light coverage and it can be built into medium coverage, this means that it won’t cover any major skin issues. I think it has hydrating effects to the skin somehow, because my very dry skin tends to look better after the application or when I take off my make up.

Il finish è dewy(lucido) e non ho notato nessun effetto antirughe o sbiancante.  La durata sotto stress è decente,  almeno 4-5 ore sotto il sole cocente senza riapplicazioni.

The finish is dewy and I haven’t notice any whitening or anti-wrinkle effects.  The lasting power is pretty decent, it lasts 4-5 hours in a really warm weather with no touch ups.

TESTS ON THE GO

Ho testato il fondotinta in molte situazioni e in molti modi, prevalentemente senza utilizzare cipria perché d’estate, siccome tendo a sudare e con il caldo i prodotti viso mi si sciolgono in faccia, è più semplice riapplicarli in caso succeda che non in caso io abbia applicato una cipria.

APPLICAZIONE CON CC CREAM COME BASE ( No cipria )

Ho utilizzato la collagen CC cream della Etude House. La durata non è migliorata, ma questa base rende l’applicazione un po’ più semplice. Il finish diventa extra-dewy, quasi oleoso.

APPLICAZIONE CON PRIMER COLORATO (no cipria )

Ho utilizzato il Color Correct verde della Kiko, che è il mio primer giornaliero. La durata del prodotto arriva a 5 ore  nel caldo umido di Roma. Il primer COLORATO però è inutile, la componente gialla del fondotinta è troppo forte già di suo.

APPLICAZIONE  SENZA NIENTE

Il fondotinta è già un buon prodotto di suo e dura un tre orette se non si applica cipria né primer, con una coprenza decente. L’ho usato spesso per truccarmi velocemente quando dovevo solo uscire a fare la spesa o buttare la spazzatura e faceva troppo caldo per fare un trucco completo. Non mi ha delusa, però si deve stare più attenti a sfumare il prodotto all’attaccatura del collo. Resiste molto bene al sudore anche da solo, tranne che sul contorno labbra, dove ha bisogno di più attenzioni (per questo spesso evitavo la cipria )

APPLICAZIONE CON CIPRIA

L’uso della cipria aiuta leggermente chi vuole un finish più matte, anche se questo fondo non è di certo per chi cerca un fondotinta matte. La durata resta la stessa di 4-5 ore, solo che in caso di caldo o sudore sarà più difficile ritoccare l’applicazione. Paradossalmente, a mio parere questo prodotto funziona meglio senza cipria che con, perché il fondo si muoverà comunque.  Se invece si vuole accentuare l’effetto dewy, allora la cipria perfetta è la Poudre de Java della Bourjois, che renderà il viso estremamente luminoso.

I’ve tested the product in many ways and situations, here is my experience:

WITH CC CREAM AS BASE (no powder):

I used the Collagen CC cream by Etude House. It doesn’t improve the lasting power but it makes the application easy. The finish becomes reaaaaaally dewy, almost oily.

APPLICATION WITH A COLORED PRIMER ( no powder)

The primer I used is my normal everyday primer, the Color Correct by KIKO in green. Using a colored primer is useless because the strong undertone of the foundation already corrects and cover any redness. The lasting power improves just a bit.

APPLICATION WITH NOTHING ( no primer, no powder )

I think it’s the best  way to apply it because it allows touch ups during the day, something difficult if you wear powder. The primer in general does not help its lasting power, maybe because of the consistency of the foundation. I saw that the foundation lasts enough without anything, even in the warm weather. I wear it with nothing whenever I don’t want a full face.

APPLICATION WITH POWDER

The powder it does not help but to mattify just a bit the complexion, but if you want a matte finish, it’s better to not buy this foundation. It does not help the lasting power because the foundation slips on the skin during the day. A perfect powder to brighten up and accentuate the dewy finish is the Bourjois powder.

Non avevo molte aspettative per questo fondotinta, ero solo molto curiosa e, per il prezzo (7 euro) credo sia un più che decente fondotinta da tutti i giorni.

La mia pelle è una combinazione fra secca e molto secca, ed è molto sensibile. Sono un NC15 da mac, Siberia da Nars, 010 della Dior, 05warm della Lancome,  Fair Neutral da Neve Cosmetics e per questo ho scelto la colorazione 02.  Il prodotto è stato testato in Estate, in un clima molto molto umido ed estremamente caldo.  Il colore è più giallo del dovuto, ma come grado di chiarezza (? XD ) siamo lì. Io preferisco applicarlo nei modi sopra descritti, ma non è detto che possa andar bene per tutti… la mia esperienza è influenzata dal mio tipo di pelle, dalle situazioni in cui l’ho testato e vari altri fattori, ma non credo che sia un fondo adatto a pelli miste-grasse. Non lo ricomprerei per il semplice fatto che  voglio testare più cose, ma nel complesso è un fondotinta che mi piace indossare per un make up poco impegnativo.
